We were planning on going Jan 2011 but just can't stay away. :)

Any buzz on what the Jan 2010 dealios might be? We did the 7 for 4 this year in Jan and it worked great for us.

I've not been on the boards in ages and I still owe you all a trip report from out Jan 09 trip and a one day trip to D-Land with NO KIDS last month! :) Whoot!

I haven't heard yet, but I am keeping an eye out as well. We weren't supposed to be going back so soon, but I'm dying for a trip!
Good luck to both of us!

Beautiful is right...
What was the 4/3? Was that pay for 4, get 3 more free?
That would be awesome!

I believe I read that last years deals for 2009 started in November 2008.

I am hoping they come out earlier this year.

I'm wishing for something even better then the buy 4 get 3 free deal. Who's with me for maybe a buy 4 get 3 free deal with free dining haha! Hey we can dream right?! :lmao:

I'm with you on that one. Even just free dining would be great. It would still work out to better savings for me than the 4/3 deal. But I won't complain if they offer the 4/3 again. Can't wait to see what deals they come up with for us!

I couldn't wait. I was there for the 4/3 deal in Jan, stayed an extra day, and when free dining came out for Dec I had to book. I got 6 nights, 7 days with ddp(upgraded from qsdp) for $1183 at POP. I've never been at Christmas. Why wait till Jan when crowds aren't bad 2 weeks before Christmas and there's so much different to do.

For those that have done the 4/3 deal, can you tell me how this works for a 14night / 15 day trip?

Do you have to book two weeks, 2 separate ressies? Or would it be buy 8, get 6 free. I don't know how it works since the parkhoppers only go up to 10 days.

Right now I have AAA room only, and will be getting (2)10 day hoppers for myself & dd from mousesavers/undercovertourist.

Or, can someone point me to a sticky faq for the 4/3 if there is one? I searched, but as you might tell, a bajillion things came up.

TIA!

I know this is all moot, there may not be any offers, I just like to mess with the numbers.

14 night, 15 days??!!

At that point, aren't you a season pass holder??!!:rotfl:

I am checking every day for a January deal. To us, it is the best time of year, minus MLK weekend. Good luck!!

LOL. Right!?!

It is kind of a last blow out before dd goes to college / gets a "real job" type thing. Then when she is done college, I'm going back to finish the degree I put on hold when I got pregnant. I figure the chances of us both getting the same time frame off will be pretty hard in the future! Right now I'm self employed and she is homeschooled, so timing is easy.

I thought it started on Jan 4 this year...? I could be wrong...

I think you could book 2 separate reservations for 7 nights each. The 4/3 deal was for 7 or less nights. You pay for 4 and get up to 3 free. Anything more than 7 nights was just at rack rate for the season. If you're doing a total of 14 nights though I would think you could do 2 reservations for the 7 nights each. You might even enjoy doing a split stay. I think the overall cheapest way to go would to buy 1 day tickets per person on both reservations and then upgrade to APs, or buy a 10 day ticket with water & more per person on the first reservation and buy a 1 day ticket per person on the second one. Either way you save the second set of 1 day tickets for a future trip as they won't be activated. Decide which is better for you based on whether you want the water parks and Disney Quest or you want to go to the parks every day.

We did 10 days last year and I am pretty sure they gave me the 4/3 twice on it and then added the extra nights on. We ended up at AKL with a pretty sweet deal. :)

If they do the 4/3 like last year, yes, you'd have to book two different 7 day ressies to get the free days. Have you looked into an AP like the OP said? It may actually be cheaper for you?!?!
If they offered to $200 gift cards like last year, you'd get 2 since you had 2 ressies!

Like another poster said, I'm praying for 4/3 + Free dining :rotfl:
A girl can dream...And go ahead and throw in that $200 GC! :yay:

I'm hoping for something better than 4/3. Not necessarily a better savings, but a better way of doing it that would be more flexible for those of us not staying exactly 7 nights.

Colleen27 viewed your spreadsheets:surfweb: They had great information on them.:thumbsup2: Thanks for sharing them. So if I read them right, the dinning plans really do save you lots of money. The last 2 trips to WDW we did the DP and loved it. I knew we had to be saving some money but didn't keep up with the amount.
