Even though i have been to DLP a fair few times, i have never known what the restaurant is called when you ride POC:confused3:upsidedow

when im on the ride, i always say to myself..."oh i would love to eat there", but after seeing the rest of the ride and deciding what to ride next i always forget to see about that restaurant!

Well next time i go in dec, i def want to go to this one! really do.

is it easy to find and what name is this restaurant?

Also again, ive seen alot of posts about salon micky?! (i think its calledthat) can you go here for your breakfast? again i dont recall seeing this....just shows how many times you have been you still miss things:) by reading peoples trip reports, i know i have missed so much out.
i want to see it all this time!!:cool1:

The reastaurant inside POC is Blue Lagoon - Its right by the exit of POC

Salon Mickey is for Share Holders only and is near the entrance to the park

Oh great! thank you:)

well i think i will pre-book a table for there on the day i arrive....or am i best to book before i go (ive never done this before:confused3).

Im not a shareholder:sad2:......worth a try though;)

Ljay, are you sure you mean SALON Mickey (the shareholders one)? *** if you want to have breakfast, many people have that in CAFE Mickey, in Disney Village... I don't think as a non-shareholder you can visit the Salon, but the Cafe is supposed to be great.

We've eaten a few times at the Blue Lagoon. It's my daughter's favourite restaurant.
Make sure you dress as pirates and eat the melting chocolate pudding.

dress as pirates? :yay: that would be fun

melting choco pudding sounds nice!:thumbsup2

Have a look here and here. Even if the menus are out of date, it will give you an idea of what sort of thing they serve and the prices.

Also, have a look at our Review thread here, sometimes people post a photo of a more up to date menu on there.

I love the Blue Lagoon ~ I know some of the reviews are less than favourable but we've always had a lovely time and delicious food there. :)

I loved the look of this place too, it was included in our HB+ vouchers.

However looking at the menu, it seemed all seafood to me and I ain't the biggest fish fan to be fair. So decided against it.

We have always wanted to eat in the blue lagoon but because it has a very fishy menu our children never wanted to go in there. However on Wednesday evening we achieved our ambition as we were just 4 adults, we asked for a table by the lagoon and thats what we got! It was fabulous the meal was beautifully served and delicous, there were 2 set menus one was 27 euros (starter, main course, tea/coffee) and one was 32 euros which included a dessert, both menus had about 4/5 choices of each course, and there was a non fish choice on both. There were also lots of other choices priced separately. We all had the 27 euro menu, I had a prawn cocktail with curry and lime followed by columbian chicken and rice pilaf with raisins. I then had tea which was served with 3 mini dessert type petit fours, a dark chocolate and chocolate coffee beans, we were all glad that we hadn't chosen the more expensive set menu as we felt the petit fours were a dessert in themselves. We had 2 large bottles of water and a bottle of muscadet and the whole bill including a tip was about 140 euros (between 4) - We would all highly recommend this restaurant. :cool1::cool1:

I have looked at the menus on this post, and they are almost identical to the menu we saw on wednesday night, except that we had a choice of two set menus, and the prices are probably a little higher. I have also remembered that my friend had a ham and melon starter with looked beautiful (almost like a dessert) and she said it was superb!

May sound like a silly question, is it whole fish or is it like fillets and are they boneless? cant eat fish with bones in paranoid ill choke!

Don't know about that as we all had chicken for main course, however the waiter was very helpful in recommending items off the menu.

Everyone seem to be giving a :thumbsup2 so i think i will def eat here:cool1:

I will have HB plus vouchers so i can use them here can i? where can i find out which other restaurants i can use HB plus..thanks:)
