Anyone switching over to Verizon FIOS?

I just discovered the Verizon Refer a Friend program, and the fact that you can split the rewards with the person you are referring!

So if anyone is interested in switching, let me know and I can refer you and split the rewards!!!

The reward is $50 for each service, so if we split it that is a $25 credit for each person!

We purchased a vacation home near Tampa, Florida last year and had Verizon FIOS installed. We had nothing but problems. The service was nothing outstanding. The billing was horrendous. Every month the bills got higher and higher. We put it on vacation when we went back home and continued to be billed every month. I spent more time calling them and no one seemed to know what they were doing. I would never recommend it in that area. Sorry!

We had nothing but problems with Comcast. Billing problems out the wazoo. When we bought out house in September we got Verizon FIOS and we LOVE it. We don't have any problems. I've never had a wrong a bill, and they've actually told me about special promotions that will save me money. I'd recommend them in a heart beat!

I'm with you. We absolutely hated Comcast and love Verizon Fios.

If Comcast was our only choice for television service, I would go without!!!

Do they have to run fiber optic cabling in your house or just to your house?

I wish we could get FIOS. We have underground utilities and they will get to us last, if at all.
