I got an adjustment for the quick service and went for the regular dining plan. They said it will take 7 to 14 business days for the credit. well worth the wait. I can't believe we're going to eat for $10 a day.

I just went back and looked at your dates and unfortunately the general public FD dates don't coincide with your travel dates.
The FD dates are October 2, 2009 to November 24, 2009.

I'm just peeoking in here, and without reading much, I just wanted to ask....Is this free dining for EVERYONE? I'm not going, but did get a Pin, but I was curious (as someone told me today to check over here and see) if this code is far all or just Visa users like last year?

It's for everyone! Excepting the 24th-28th of November (Thanksgiving), the other dates in value season are available. Think you can convince Skip?

I called bright and early this morning at 7am and was very successful. Changed my reservation to free quick service dining at POP Century. Very nice lady I talked to and she helped me change the dining and keep everything else the same. Ironicly, I already had free regular dining, but I really wanted quick service due to a first timer 2 year old and a very, very, very picky eater of a husband. I didn't want to be tied down to ADR's this trip. MAybe next one when she is a little less likely to be sleeping at ADR time.

I got mine. I got the free basic dining plan. This saved my family over 1K!!!!!!

Yes, it is for everyone. Value resort reservations are eligible for the quick service plan free. Moderates and deluxes can get the regular plan. All are upgradable for an extra payment.

I called my AAA travel agent today, and she changed us over to the free dining for us, so I didn't have to cancel and re-book after all. And we still get all the other AAA benefits (other than the discount.)

I booked it at a moderate and had a start date of 11/28. I told them that day was blacked out but they insisted that I could still get it? I am confused now!

I too am starting my trip on Nov 28 and they never said a word about the 28th being a black out day. They just changed my package to the free QS dining and my price was the same as before adding the free dining. Guess they are not really worried about it.

I think it's that you can't go through that day, so you can't stay the 27th, and thus use the night of the 27th (into the 28th). Because reservations go by nights, maybe that's why?

They might give it to you because you're not getting a real day at the parks in on the 28th?

I'm going to say no, my thinking being they usually mix things up a bit.
I'd guess they'll go for the 7 for 4 with a gift card incentive again.

I haven't been on the board for over a month. I was really excited to see the free dining.

We are going Nov 20 - 28, so we will be there over Thanksgiving. The literature blacked out Thanksgiving, but when I booked it tonight, they gave me the free dining for the entire trip. I'm not sure if it was because I was there before the black out dates or not, but I didn't argue!

DH came home last night and said that a friend from work has a WDW trip booked for October. The family consists of a husband, wife, and young child (around 4 or 5 years old). They are booked for three nights at Port Orleans and have a three day pass. They also have paid for the dining plan. DH says that their total price is around $1600. He said that they received a $400 discount or something like that but not free dining. I told him to tell this guy to call today and reprice with free dining. We have the full free dining offer booked for next month. What does this friend need to do to get it for October? Is it offered to everyone now for October?
