My List for Today:

Caffeinate

work till 3p

Stop by Dr office to pick up letter to join health club

Go over CKC stuff, make shopping list

Dinner...

Got a lot done today.. although I am missing one title for the 4-H club scrapbook and as easy as it would be to do it tonight, I don't feel like it... so it's on tomorrows list!

To do list:


OH, big project today is cleaning the SCRAPROOM!
balance ckbk
pay bills
cut last 4-H club title and adhere
take photos of all 4-H projects
Make flip book of project list & what departments and which kids (as DH has to pick up the projects @ the end of the fair b/c DD & DS8 and I will be at the pre-wedding stuff that morning, DH and DS13 have to get everything, run it home and drive to meet us)
start packing list for next weekend's wedding
try on dress and shoes to make sure they are a good match (I liked them last week)
exercise (I have 5 lbs to lose after seeing my weight at the drs. office yesterday) Did the bender ball work out.. DH called as I finished..but I need to go do 50 crunches on it..
empty dishwasher
make 2 lists for school supply shopping so when the sales FINALLY start I have a list at home and in my purse
go get mesh wiring from friend for bottom of rabbit's fair cage (I hate cleaning the saw dust off before showing)
kids to straighten rooms

All right. . .less than a week 'til back to school, so I've got to get back in the list habit. I found out Tuesday that my co-worker (we are the only 2 counselors) has breast cancer. I'm so worried for her, and also gearing up to start school--so stress is on my mind!! One step at a time, though. And for the next 4 days, that's to enjoy DS!!!

Here's my list:

1. Caffeinate
2. Try to get up early to do some P365 journaling--didn't happen. . .DS had a rough teething night3. DS up
4. DS breakfast
5. Walk--need to walk extra. . .trying to lose 5 lbs before DS's party6. DS lunch
7. DS nap
8. Fold laundry
9. Project 365 pic
10. DH late--meeting at work
11. Pack DS's bag for him to go to Mom's on Thursday (DH & I are going to see Harry Potter. . .first time we've been out alone since DS was born)
12. Watch "So You Think You Can Dance"
13. Make list for work
14. Clean one room of the house

Im in a pickle cause my family wants me to move home (two hours away). I dont have a job there. I have a job here but it wont be enough hours to pay all my bills. I have 3 freinds here, one that I am VERY close to (and close to her kids). Shes been having anxiety problems lately and ended up in the er for chest pain today. By my family I only have one freind. I have a guy friend up there too that im dating but its not serious. I have two little sisters and a eldery grandmother up home. Up home I would have a room and only pay around 200 for all my bills. Up here I pay $600 a month. What would you do?

11. Pack DS's bag for him to go to Mom's on Thursday (DH & I are going to see Harry Potter. . .first time we've been out alone since DS was born)

Have fun! DH and I got to see an advanced screening of it on Monday night and we both loved it! There were a few things that I wished they would have done differently but it was a great movie.

So, a little update on me. We have found a house and are moving in on August 2nd (or around there). Happy birthday to me, get to move on my birthday. Actually it will be fun- we have much more room in this house. I will actually have a scrap room. Sure, it'll share some room with the kids toys, but the scrap stuff will be out of the bedroom! I am going back to work (not really my first choice, but a necessary choice). So I'm in the process of applying for jobs. This is all a little stressful, but I know once we get over these next few hurdles we'll be fine.

Flying Babyb- I can't tell you what to do- I would suggest seeing if you have a way to get more hours where you are or can reduce your bills in some way- maybe see about getting a 2nd job for your off hours if you want to stay there- if you would rather go home see about finding a job there before you commit to moving. If you are torn between staying and going apply in both places and see what comes through. As a pastor's wife prayer factors a lot into my decisions but that is up to you.

SIOH- Sorry to here about your co-worker- enjoy this last week at home with your little bit.

joyah- sorry FIL is being a pain

Nancy- you are tiny from what I have seen but good luck with everything- I know your sister is not your favorite person in the world

I'm not sure from where...but I hit triple digits for the first time in my life when I was not pregnant! I only hit those digits when I was pregnant...
I told my mom, DH and my DD that I need to lose 5 lbs and they said the same as you.. .I'm going over to a friends house and try the scale w/o my shoes and see if the #s look better.... LOL

Ok, got up w/ a storm that fizzled out when I came upstairs to check on the kids..but it had woke the kids w/ a thunder roll that rattled the whole house for alike a minute (I know it wasn't that long).... so I really need to get ready and get my bottom in gear and attack my list..

My scrapbook room is crying to be cleaned and used again!!!

Maybe offer a few suggestions on what we could do... (only to make you laugh hysterically, I have a wicked sense of humor at times when I'm in a situation that needs resolved and I can't get it resolved peacefully.... the if only I could do this.... or this.... or better yet..... ) Another reason I started the "Frequent Flyer Program to the Moon" for my DH and others at times! Hey all - checking in - Is it really the 15th already!!??

Not sure what day it is...checking #1 post - Wednesday!! It's Wednesday!

DH is done with chemo shots - now we wait to see what blood counts will do and pray the new cells return healthy and bald!

Joyah so sorry FIL is being a pain. We live on a ranch here so kinda understand in a not really, 3000 mile away, kind of way. Sorry you have to deal with this.

Ashley!! A new house!!With a scrapping room! I will keep my fingers crossed for your job search.

Today -

Car to the shop - some part DH ordered has been in for like 2 months - guess its not intergal to the car actually going....

PU Brown sugar - secret pig food recipe - 4H pig still not eating much but is at least putting on weight now.

DDs 2nd birthday is tomorrow!! Time flies.

DH birthday is Saturday. Family dinner is Friday night - MIL and nephew also celebrate birthdays this month. DH cannot go though - with his WBC count at .8 his immune system is slightly impaired. We will bring him a "daddy bag" from PF Changs. YUM.

Luandry, Dishes and clean the floors - that is my day.

Seriously?

OMG, M woke up with a swollen eye. She's always been hyper-sensitive to bug bites. She got one on her eyelid and could barely open it. I gave her some Benadryl and called the doctor...They aren't too concerned about that one, but she has another on the back of her right arm that is looking a little "bullseyeish." Doc traced an outline around it, and said f it's bigger this evening, we need to call for a prescription for an antibiotic. You can actually feel the heat coming off of it. She didn't have a fever, but was a bit "warm." I ended up bringing her to camp (it's TWIN DAY!), could their directions be any more confusing? OMG, I got lost 4 times.

So, I'm at work, but the boss is leaving soon, so I'll take a quick run over to Mike's once he's gone

I read everything...Ash, good luck with your move! Christy, sorry FIL is being a PITA. I can't remember much else...sorry.

trying to find a way to say how much you all mean to me, but right now I'm hurting and really can't find any of the right words to use.
thank you for taking the time to say your sorry. I'm trying very hard not to stick my head in the sand and still go on with my routines. At least Dh and the boys are out right now so I can rant and rave like a lunitic. It's pretty sad when you have to tell an adult they are and idiot and no longer allowed on your property.

I would love to see what your room looks like when its done. Mine needs help (BIG HELP) and I love seeing other "real" rooms. Mines so bad I cant walk through it since theres a over abundance of excess stuff.

I'd show you but you'd laugh your butt off.. I have a 5" table up against one of the walls in my laundry room... I literally can turn around walk 2 steps and be at my washer and dryer.. I use the top of them for work space too. DH laughs because he is forever moving paper or the trimmer off the top of my washer so he can pull loads out or put loads in! LOL

ETA: I'm just waiting patiently as my oldest stepson will be off to college Aug 2010..and than that room is MINE! MINE! MINE! I plan on getting a photo of the seagulls at Nemo's ride and the recording that screams MINE! MINE! MINE!...

mines a mini pool table ( with a chunk of plywood on top for a desk)in a room with a washer, a tiny closet, lots of leftover funiture, a gazelle and tons of toys (and I dont have kids). Of course with all the crap in there im not sure where my scrap goodies are.

I love PF Changs after recently discovering it in DC in April. Happy Birthday for DH. I bet I know what his birthday wish will be.

Jennifer, how is Morgan feeling tonight? Has the swelling gone down? I am super allergic to spider bites. Turns all hard and red. DH has a similiar reaction to a horsefly one year.

Nanc, hang in there on the wedding. I know you won't let your knickers get in a knot over meaningless things. There are so many important issues in life.

Our van had an unexpected trip to the garage today. Needless to say it was a big bill. At least it didn't act up when we were traveling a distance from home. It decided to break down a quarter mile from the mechanics. There is a guardian angel looking over us.
