Please look at my ADR's

Please take a look at my ADRs' and let me know what you think, what you'd change etc. It is me and DS 11 going Aug 8-15. We are on the dining plan and I realize that I have more TS than TS credits. That's part of why I need help! I am willing to pay OOP if necessary but I'm wondering if it's really worth it.

8/8 - 5 pm T-Rex ( this is our arrival day)

8/9 - 8 pm CRT -This is all I can get, I keep checking for earlier ressies. There is evenig EMH this night. This is a must do for me

8/10 - Ohana breakfast 10:50 am. DS 11 Likes Stitch, but I'm thinking maybe we skip this and do it another time, but another time he will be too old and not enjoy it. We've never done a character meal.

8/11 11:30 Sci-Fi - We'll just pop in for shakes and fries (OOP) since we have a 4:25 at Hollywood Brown Derby for the Fantasmic package. I've never eaten here. Is it worth 2 TS? Should I keep tryng to see if MM or HV opens up?

8/12 - 6:00 Rose and Crown. I know this is too early but what time would you have to be there to see Illuminations?

8/13 - 6:05 Le Cellier - Epcot has evening EMH this night and the crowd calendasr say it will be nuts!! Oh well...should I GASP even consider cancelling it?

8/14 - Teppen Edo - I just added this. DS11 loves all things Japanese and has never been to a hibachi style restaurant so I think he will get a kick out this and it's fun for our last night.

Well, Im always willing to throw in my 2 cents . You didn't say that you were on the deluxe plan, so I will assume you have 1 TS credit per day 8/8-8/16 = 8 nights, 8 TS.

8/8 - 5 pm T-Rex - I dont think T-rex is on the DDP, unless you have deluxe, so this would def be OOP

8/9 - 8 pm CRT - 2 credits. Keep since you say this is a must do for me

8/10 - Ohana breakfast 10:50 am. Keep - 1 TS

8/11 11:30 Sci-Fi - OOPs
4:25 Hollywood Brown Derby for the Fantasmic package Keep - especially if you have Fantasmic - it's hard to book. but if MM opens up, switch, then you can add an extra TS to the end of your trip.

8/12 - 6:00 Rose and Crown: Early is better, last time we did 7:15 at Epcot and still missed Illuminations?

8/13 - 6:05 Le Cellier - Stick with this

8/14 - Teppen Edo - This is a fun restaurant, and you kids will like it. You can upgrade to Filet for $7.50 extra!

If your son likes Stich and you've never done a character meal I'd keep Ohana. Seeing it's a breakfast I'd pay OoP for that one. An added note your never too old for a character meal!

BD- Not worth 2 TS to me. My family didn't like it. But that's us. Everyone has their own tastes. It was an OK meal to me but I don't think it was worth the 2TS at all. We won't be doing it again. I keep trying for MM and finally snagged one.

Keep LeCellier. You'll regret it if you don't.

Ok... if it were me, this is what I would do:

8/8- I'd dump T-Rex and eat at the resort. It will save you $$$. You didn't specify where you were staying, but some resort's food courts are good with variety.

8/9- CRT- obviously you want to keep this

8/10- If you want to do a character meal, I'd do Crystal Palace, Winnie the Pooh and Friends. They have a great variety of food. I'd try to get an early ADR, like 8:05 a.m., if it's not an early emh day. It's fun to be in the park before it opens.

8/11- I'd try for MM or H&V. Save the TS.

8/12- I'd try Coral Reef around 5 p.m. The food is good and your DS and you will LOVE the fish "tank".

8/13 and 8/14- KEEP WHAT YOU HAVE!!!!!!! They are BOTH GREAT!!!!!!!

T-Rex is not on the DDP so you will have to pay out of pocket.

By my calculations you only need to pay for one more meal out of pocket, if you keep what you already have. I would guess that the 'Ohana breakfast with Stitch and Lilo will be the cheapest one.

I'm cancelling T-rex to save the $$$. I will keep trying for a different fantasmic package. Is Hollywood and Vine really as awful as I have read?
