Just wonder if anyone is in the parks this week?? How are the crowds? Looks like touring plans has the attendance dipping over the next couple of weeks...dropping to level 6. I was surprised that it would drop like in the begining of August.??

That is a good point. I never go in the summer but due to a death in the family we moved our trip. Just happy to be going

My brother was at AK and DHS on Saturday afternoon. He said both parks were busy but not obnoxious.

spent all day at mk. lines where extremely short, 5 mins wait for most rides. most did not even have fast pass open cause lines were so short. longest line i saw was 60 min for peter pan. no wait for buzz, small world, philharmagic. 15 min to see ariel, and the princess, 35 min to fairies. lines for mickey and peter pan where long so we did not even try em. most of the park was very light on the crowds as compared to previous years. i was very shocked.

I was at WDW from July 9th-14th and was pleasantly surprised by how uncrowded it was. It was the first time I've ever been in the summer, and I was expecting shoulder to shoulder crowds. While it was busier than it is during our usual January trips, it wasn't at all unmanageable. In fact, we were there for a few days after our cruise in March, and the crowds were much, much worse than they are now.

Also, a lot of schools start in August - and if your school starts in mid August, travelling in early August gets tough - there are school open houses, and school shopping, and sports practices, and band camp and.....the responsibilities of school tend to start a few weeks before the bus picks you up to take you to school.

Between avoiding the heat and the early start of school and the promotions of September, I suspect August will become the new October.....
