Best Restaurant in World Showcase

Hey guys. So on one of the days of my trip my group is walking around World Showcase. For some, they have never been to Walt Disney World, so we really want to take our times exploring the countries.

We are going to start around 2:00 PM and then finish up the day with Illuminations at 9:00 PM. In between we want to eat dinner, and that's where I am stuck. The first day of our trip we are dining at O'Hana, so I want to mix it up a bit the next day (So I don't want to to do Tepon Edo in Japan). Is there any restaurant you recommend above others. Thinking about it now, I guess we can walk from the International Gateway to Boardwalk or Y&B Club and eat dinner there, before returning for Illuminations.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It really depends on what you like! There are so many great restaurants in the world showcase. The only one I see that gets pretty consistent poor marks is San Angel Inn in Mexico.....but I'm going to try it anyway on my October trip! Le Cellier in Canada almost always gets great reviews. Biergarten in germany is great......I guess I'm trying to say that you really can't go wrong with pretty much any of them!! Good luck deciding!:thumbsup2

I suggest Marrakesh . . . it's fun and great for groups. The food is delicious and they have entertainment throughout the evening (band and belly-dancers).

I used to say Le Cellier, but last year during free dining the quality was awful and I was glad not to actually pay $150 for it!

We must go to Beirgarten, but we love German food! They have a show as well, and their schtick is seating you with other people you don't know.. kind of awkward unless you meet friendly people!

My DH likes Mexican and loved San Angel, I do not and did not..

Rose and Crown was too bland (so perfect for UK food) for us.

Before babies we thought that Marrakesh was good, but our kids wouldn't be wowed.. if you like Moroccan food it is fine. Almost never busy, very underrated!

Never tried Chinese or Japanese..

Is there anyplace else?

A lot don't like it, but we enjoyed San Angel Inn, the white chocolate dessert was one of the best we had in 2 weeks. If you venture out to the Boardwalk area then Yachtsman Steakhouse is very good, but not the cheapest place to eat.

I really like Tutto, Chefs de France, and Biergaten. They are my top 3.

Ditto - Chefs de France or Tutto are my favs.

Also, try this one - if you are going leisurely around Epcot. I have done the drinking around the world, where I would split a drink with one of my friends.

But I took my mom one year and she is a teetotaler. So we did dessert around the world. The napolean in France and the rice cream in Norway are not to be missed.

However, we ate nothing but fruit the next morning, to help with the sugar high!

In response to the title of your post, Best Restaurant in World Showcase, then the answer is: Bistro de Paris, in France, located above Chefs de France. If you are considering walking to the Boardwalk or YC/BC area, then Flying Fish (BW) or Yachtsman Steakhouse (YC) would be the best at those locations.
Many people will have their own favorites, but to simply answer your question, those are the best in that area. None are inexpensive, but they are the best.

We did the counter service resturant in Morocco and it was AWSOME! Our 5 and 9 year old even loved it, but of course they eat hummus dip and some Indian food on dinner out night. We just didn't want a ressie meal in the world showcase and just winged it but DH said we would def. be eating there again and he is pickey.

Bistro de Paris is hand s down the best restaurant at Epcot! Others mileage may vary.

I would say Le Cellier, Chefs de France, or Biergarten. All have very good food. At least with Biergarten, it is a Buffet and you also have entertainment. :cool1:

We truly enjoyed our dining experience at Tutto Italia & ranked it one of our best meals of the trip. The service was attentive, atmosphere wonderful, food delicious & desserts..yum! Our DSs(9 & 6) were pleased with their meals and still rave about their chocolate mousse desserts being one of their favorites.

Bistro de Paris is one of the best in all of WDW, and definitely the best at Epcot.

Another vote for the biergarten. The show is funny, the food good and the gemutlikiet of eating with others makes for an enjoyable time. The beer is also some of the best.:drinking1
