...but there is a little ice cream shop around the corner from my house that serves Dole whips, and tonight's flavor was pineapple!!! SO delicious...

It's a block and a half from my house. I think most of the time it is orange though. Once in a while it is pineapple. I don't think you can get it in pineapple juice like at MK.

The night I walked over and got one, it was great. But it kind of made me miss my favorite park.

OMG! That is so awesome. I would bring my own glass of pineapple juice and dump it in!

I LOVE pineapple, so I'm intrigued just by that.....

Dole Whips are a soft serve. They don't contain lactose but do contain casien.

You can get them on the DDP (snack) at Aloha Isle in Adventureland or at the Poly-Captain Cooks. You can also upgrade and get a Dole Whip float on the DDP-pineapple juice and the soft serve on top.

Some like to have the pineapple swirl (vanilla). I think there is one other flavor.

Just an aside, when my sister was in Hawaii last summer, she toured the Dole plantation. At the end she was able to have a Dole Whip! She's never been to WDW, so she didn't know about them there. Anyway, my kids collect pressed pennies and she got them one from the Dole plantation with a Dole Whip on it! The funny thing is that a couple of months ago, I was looking at their pressed penny book and saw that one. I immediately thought, "I don't remember them getting a Dole Whip penny at the MK!" Took me a minute to remember where it came from.

I was missing WDW and Dole Whip Floats, so I put together a mock version last night. It was pretty good, considering I'm stuck in KY with no hopes of getting to WDW anytime soon. Vanilla ice cream and pineapple juice.

You are making me jealous!!! I just love Dole Whips.... I read about them on the Dis before my last trip - So I just had to try one. Well - they are just awesome! I had like 2 everyday that we were in MK! YuM!!!

A vendor at our county fair always has pineapple dole whips. I haven't gotten one because it would destroy the mystique of my special Disney treat!

I have to drive to town to get a dole whip and I see that they are making them this week. They make all the hard ice cream and I think that the Dole Whip is not their own. I haven't had one yet
