Christine you are super awesome! Yes that's the one she likes, hehe. Mike however prefers my full name. I love the monogram of the S and M. It's all about compromise.

So it's official. We put in the request for the date change. I'm busy looking at hair clips. I can't decide for tiara, barrette/clip, or flower. Any opinions? I know the tiara is really popular. But I think with the hair choices (#3 and 6 from the pics) barrettes/flowers are the way to go. Hmmm...

Also thinking about jewelry. I have this really small blue sapphire/diamond necklace my mom permenantly lent to me, that my dad gave to her so it's old and sentimental. I'm not a big bracelet person, and earrings I really love chandelier earrings but I'm paranoid about heavy earrings. I HATE heavy earrings. I want ones that look beautiful and ornate but are actually really light. I don't know. I also want to include an old locket in my bouquet with pictures of our cats, hehe.

And I found (more like stole) these awesome shoes from Katie/Princess Shea. They are adorable!!!



They are kinda expensive but my mom thnks they're cute too and doesn't mind paying for the wedding stuff since I'll only be getting married once. I'm not sure. I like the flip flop idea but I should have nice shoes and I think these are cute, nice, but able to reuse them, and quirky...like me! Plus Katie says they are comfortable.

So good news today. DF was rehired in his district, he's just moving to the middle school. And I finally signed my contract in my district. We have jobs!

Now I'm just looking at cars....and wedding stuff obsessively. I can read the dis from my iphone,

Haha it's addicting. Right now I'm waitingon an interview that's running 45 minutes late and I'm playing on the Dis .

Back to wedding stuff. After viewing the japan ceremony thread on the main board I feel confident that we're going there. And I got some ideas from the pictures. First off I love the bridesmaids with parasols. I hate the. With bouquets and this way we cam save some major money because thty only cost a few bucks each and with 6 girls that can add up. Secondly I love the long walk over the bridge for the entrance. I like the drama of it hehe


And also one of the brides had a sparkly headband and I really liked the look of it. I'm weary of the tiara so it seems like a good compromise. I can't decide between that the tiara, hair combs, or flowers

Ironic you're thinking about a headband!! I found the most gorgeous one and tried it on when I picked up my dress last Friday. I'm like you... not sure about which hair accessory to get! I just know I don't want a tiara for myself. So you must let us know whatever you decide to go with because maybe it'll help me decide too!

Thanks Claire! Of course now, I was actually offered the position at the interview so I had 2 choices. And I have to decide by Wednesday morning. I'm so torn. Do I pick the one that pays more (but not a huge amount), is only 1 prep (all the same classes) and I have my own classroom, or do I pick the one in the same district as DF, I'll teach multiple levels, and possibly even bio (which makes me happy)? Ugh...I hate deciding!

And Christine, you sneaky lady! I can't believe you've been conversing with Mike! Backstory: So tomorrow is Mike and my 3rd anniversary and Df wanted to surprise me by buying an Erlenmeyer Flask (a beaker) and engrave it for our sand ceremony, and he wanted to use the monogram and needed the actual file, as opposed to the copy of the pic I sent him. So he scoured Disney boards until he found this one, and then searched for me, and really Christine. He swears he didn't check out other pictures (like me in my dress, haha ) and apparently PM'd Christine. Of course you need to post like 10 times before you can PM so he randomly posted around the board...if case you find him: he's Sam's Prince Charming.

For anyone looking just google "Marc Jacobs mouse". Be careful though because there are a lot of fakes out there. If the deal seems too good to be true, then it is! However, I have seen a lot of variety the past few years with this style -- silver, white, black glitter, red, leopard, blue, etc -- so I wouldn't be surprised if there is a green out there or will be eventually.

I've only seen the red and blue in the marc jacobs print. But green would be cool.
