how do you schedule a tour? We are staying there in December but we'll be down in a few weeks and it might be interesting.

I will ask my wife. I believe that they sent us an invite after we made our reservation. I know that the annual passholders walkthrough is at the end of july.

Overall the show was very good and there were alot of freebies given to all in atendance. 1 person even got a week stay at any of the concierge collection resorts.

They even have a dedicated staff and area for kids (but they will not get any of the freebies).

OK, so i fibbed. the rest of the pictures will have to wait until after i get home from work.

Somehow my massage was more important today than posting.:rotfl2:

Can kids stay with the adults? Mine are 8, 11, and 13 and want to see the models as well. They are well behaved.

I was wondering the same thing about keeping the kids with you. Do you have to leave them with someone as we are finicky about who we leave our kids with, even at Disney!

Was this from one of the Vacation As You Wish presentations? We are scheduled to go this weekend and I'm really looking forward to it. Can't wait to see your photos. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. :thumbsup2

The presentation (show part) is when they will watch your little ones. The staff from the community hall are the ones who watch the curtain climbers.

They can stay with you if you would like.

You have to pick up your children before the walkthrough though. Which is a good thing since that is when the desert bar is open and the dance party with goofy, pluto and the head cheese starts.

Lets just say the congo line was a blast. lol

If anyone really wants to see more pictures of the dance party, I will post them but it just seems like alot of uploading for nothing. everyone has (or should have) been around a disney dance party before.

Mike

P.S. if anyone has any questions feel free to ask here or by PM

I love the Minnie and Mickey pics over the beds and the view from the villa is breathtaking.

I have one more question so I can convince my hubby this would be a good thing for us to do on one of our down days........is the show part a one on one thing or is it a group thing for everyone? Do they take you to a table with one or two other people and try to strong arm you into joining or??? Just making sure because my DH doesn't have the patience for that and he won't be too happy with me if they do that? Also, how long did it take??? (sorry if this was already answered elsewhere, please direct me if so?) THANKS!

I just registered my family yesterday to attend on July 22nd. My confirmation notes that "This event will last approx. two hours; please arrive 25 minutes prior to Showtime for registration".

DH & I are bringing DD14 & DS11. We're hoping it's fun for the kids!

the first hour is just a funny show with "The Wishmister" and lots of songs and such telling the wonders of DVC membership (this is when the free stuff is given away)

The second part is a smaller group walk through of the BLT itsself.

You have to choose to talk to a sales person 1 on 1 if you want. (If you do and still do not buy, there is little or no pressure) and you get a DVC card for each person in your attending group that can be put into the fast pass machines (it is good for 3 or 4 days) and will give a fast pass for immediate entry to a fast passable ride. Each card may be used up to 3 times. So just for taking 10-15 minutes to see the actual prices and say not at this time each person can ride 3 rides with no wait (ok fast pass line wait). We used ours for splash mountain. it felt oh so good when it was hot outside.

Hi I am still not sure how to sign up for this. We stayed in DVC in June and didn't get invited, in July we are staying at carribean beach for cash so maybe we won't get invited? Is this a call your guide thing? We already bought at contemporary so maybe we won't get invited?

great pic's:thumbsup2

I can't wait to see and try it for myself in November.

We were lucky enough to get reservations for BLT on Sept 4th (exactly 1 month after the official opening) for the MNSSHP and the night before our cruise. We will not have the opertunity to enjoy the fireworks from the balcony because we will be in the park enjoying the party. Oh well there is always next time.
