Wow. I just found your TR and came in right at the right time ---- an upgrade to the Contemporary. How awesome is that?????? I would be jumping out of my skin. For some reason, out of all the monorail resorts, that is the one I really want to stay in. I am keeping my finger crossed for BLT in January 2011. Yeah, I'm really planning that far ahead!

I just got caught up again, and then u leave me hanging! was it at least better to be there in the heat not pregnant? can't wait to hear all about it!

I cannot imagine being pregnant in that heat. It was just unbelievable, much hotter than last year. The pool water at both hotels was too warm, and that was by far the first time I thought that!

So excited to hear about the potential upgrade.... and if I have to wait til the baby arrives - at least it gives me something to look forward to when I am as big as a whale!

I am not good at making people wait. But it was fun to see CP work at it!

I actually called Disney to have them make a note of it on my reservation. I imagine it's a sure thing but then again could it be first come first serve

Aw shucks! We were kinda on your vacation with you, then, if you were thinking of us! We will be leaving four weeks from tomorrow, so we're in the home stretch! we had our Pop party last weekend.

Bella can't stand a wet or stinky diaper either. She wants them changed right away. As soon as you start changing her, she settles down and smiles, as if to say, "That's much better, big people."

Glad to hear the kids did okay on the flight; especially Luke. It's a good feeling when the baby falls asleep on the plane!

There were many moments I thought of you, or pics you took! I loved your POP party stuff!

I'm not any good at keeping secrets -- or waiting for them to be revealed -- either.

Can I just say that I am glad I am not the only one? I saw that picture, had a thought, and headed over to the resort photos board -- sadly, very few people post pictures of their doors over there.

OMGosh! What a great surprise! I have always wanted to stay at the CR, so I can't wait to hear your thoughts.

The kids check-in is so cute! I've never seen that before.

Now you have me wondering about your tickets...

Let's just say CSR needs some lessons from the Contemporary staff! There is not a big mess, and I did learn some things.....

so cool you got upgraded to a deluxe! I would LOVE to stay anywhere on the monorail line... poly would be my first choice, but contemp would be super cool too! Can't wait to hear more, however I sense a possible problem coming....

I love the new Contemporary rooms... and it was nice to be able to get to the main building undercover... and to be before the Transportation and Ticket Center.....

A free night and at deluxe -- too awesome! I can't wait to hear what you have to say. I really want to try out that resort some time!

We actually got rack rate credit, which is not what I had paid. Along with other credits... but that comes later-

I was shocked. I think the Contemporary was not near capacity. The pool was pretty dead and the wing we were in seemed pretty empty too. I think they moved a bunch of people there, most for one night. To be honest I would not have moved for one night... too much work!

How super! The pictures of the girls checking in and waiting for you are so cute. Em looked like she was working hard to get comfortable...
I don't know if I'm emotional today or what but your special deal brought happy tears to my eyes.

I've never considered staying at the Contemporary before, probably because of the price, but I do think it's a very cool resort. We did a Wishes cruise from their dock last summer so we snooped around a little.

I have been following - ok, lurking- along with your PTR/TR. I cannot get over how much bigger the girls are this trip! Plus of course Mr. Luke!

Am right there with you on the heart palpitations thinking "I did not plan for this!!"

My mind was racing... my parents had planned to dump stuff with us the next night, we had plannned to go to AK our first day, which is super fair from the Contemporary... yikes! Then I saw the activity sheet for the resort... and well my kids love that kind of stuff! Just know we started to make some changes!

DS isn't a big guy...I meant DH and how he had to squeeze in there!

I meant in general how would you change a two year old on those small tables...

I never did find it - I had never heard of them moving a family to another resort, so I was thinking more along the line of one of the suites at CSR. I'll keep the "secret" quiet... I think CP might have something similar up her sleeve...

That is SO great about getting rack rate credit!!!!!!!!!! That's like $300 isn't it???! And other credits? AWESOME! I'm so excited to read about them all!

Yep, someday we will stay at BLT-when it's inital popularity has worn off and we can get it at 7 months. I wish their rooms were the same as the main hotel though, I think the main hotel is prettier, but I do like BLT too-and the monorail with small kid(s)....I think I would LOVE that.

Arrival Day, June 16th part 2

Where was I? Oh that is right we had just checked into the CONTEMPORARY! I figured right away we were headed to a garden view room. I think over the past nine years I have priced out those rooms, hoping for a steal, and now they were paying me to stay in one!

So we listened to the directions and headed out towards the pool. I think the girls wanted to jump in right away.... and then down some long corridors, to our room.

Here are some pics I snapped quickly, but know that my girls had SWIM on the must do!

Our view was of Bay Lake (and yes we could see the water parade from it). I loved being on the ground floor with the patio, it came in handy the next morning... and we meet some friends out there too!

We hurried to get in our swimsuits, and were off to the pool. My thought was dip for Luke and then he would nap poolside (hey a mom can wish right). We hoped to swim a few hours before going to DTD. We also hoped to see the Water Parade that night, since it was on the great page of activities that the Contemporary had! We saw lots to do tomorrow... my girls were ready!

Along the way we called and told my parents...we somewhat screwed up the plans for the next night. My parents had planned to unload at CSR when they got to the World, since they were staying at a deal off site for the night. Then we decided they would meet us at the Contemporary and unload some stuff with us, since we could have it moved back to CSR (remember this.... we tried to make our move easy on us)

I snapped some pics of our walk to the pool....
