If we had been anywhere but Disney I would have hated it, but how can you not be happy at Disney. We did have a clip on fan for Luke in the stroller. It helped, does Jill have one for Bella?

I think she did get one, but if not, we will be doing that. I know we've talked about it, but I don't remember if she said for sure she has purchased one yet.

It's gotta be Contemporary or Poly but I am leaning towards Contemporary. Sigh. Is it sad that I don't want to go out today so I don't have to wait to find out the answer!?

As the man said that I was almost ready to cry, because I had overheard the "deal" being offered to the family next to us. He proceeded to tell me that they needed to move some guests to a deluxe resort, the Contemporary. He wanted to move us for two nights (we had a two night room only reservation before our package). I waved DH down to join us while the girls watched TV. Then it got even better when he said they would give us one night for free. All we had to do was say yes, the would take us over in a van and we were set.

I must admit I was wishing for another hotel. The Contemporary is not a place I had ever thought about staying. It just did not appeal to me...
Also remember we had decided to stay at CSR for those first two nights even though we could have saved over 100 dollars to stay at another Moderate, but we did not want to move... my how things change!

I had a few questions for the manager, Laura who had come over. She said we would have no problem just picking up our tickets at MK or a park even tomorrow. (Remember this....)Our luggage would be moved back too. She also said she would do a set of the Mugs for us (I knew that CSR had special ones) when we returned since we had planned on buying them and I was not buying a set for two days and then another set. She also took our request for 8A again, with adjoining rooms and promised that. So we were off....and I realized that my planning was out the door- I knew nothing about the Contemporary, except that our breakfast at the Poly tomorrow was going to be a breeze to get too!!!

The CM who checked us in drove us over and explained they had a building that was supposed to be done by 5 and they where worried it would not be ready. So that is why we got some pixie dust spread our way. We arrived at the Contemporary at around 3....

I cannot speak highly enough of how great the CM at the Contemporary were, so welcoming and nice!

And then we took our luggage (we had only our check-ons) with us and headed to the garden wing!

Up next: our room... and my thoughts on it

And what are we going to do now.. I thought we were going to explore CSR!

OMGosh! What a great surprise! I have always wanted to stay at the CR, so I can't wait to hear your thoughts.

The kids check-in is so cute! I've never seen that before.

Now you have me wondering about your tickets...

so cool you got upgraded to a deluxe! I would LOVE to stay anywhere on the monorail line... poly would be my first choice, but contemp would be super cool too! Can't wait to hear more, however I sense a possible problem coming....

I look forward to your thoughts on the CR too-we've always wanted to stay there, both DH and I think it's such a neat place and SO pretty.

How super! The pictures of the girls checking in and waiting for you are so cute. Em looked like she was working hard to get comfortable...
I don't know if I'm emotional today or what but your special deal brought happy tears to my eyes.

I've never considered staying at the Contemporary before, probably because of the price, but I do think it's a very cool resort. We did a Wishes cruise from their dock last summer so we snooped around a little.

Looking forward to more pixie dust!

I have been following - ok, lurking- along with your PTR/TR. I cannot get over how much bigger the girls are this trip! Plus of course Mr. Luke!
