Jon and Kate Plus 8, Official Thread-Part 4

Well, surely we can all relate to the "crooked houses and where should they go", right? I mean, I've never had a crooked house to set up but there have been many decisions that DH and I have had to talk about and compromise on during 22 years of marriage. I know we are not alone in this. It is a part of marriage. I'm glad to see Jon have an opinion. I am glad to see Kate seemingly taking into consideration that Jon's opinion is also important and just not dismissing it.

How it will all play out, I'll have to wait until tonight to see. I am sure there is much more of a power struggle over the placement of those houses because of the happenings within their marriage.

I think kate definitely looks emotional on the couch in that pink sweater. She either knowingly applied less eye makeup because she knew this was going to be rough or she cried during the interview and has wiped a lot of her eye makeup off. One or the other.

Jon's earrings are twinkling. That's all I got to see so far...I'm having trouble with it.

That is kinda freaky. I will say though I was tempted. I'm from Lancaster (not too far from where the Gosselin clan are currently living) and I went back about 2 weeks ago to visit family, and I'll admit that I thought about driving by. I would never stop or get out, but I was tempted to drive by. I know, kinda crazy

Oh, then you are probably close to where I am in the Denver/Adamstown area. I have never been tempted to drive by their house until all this craziness started. I am more interested in seeing all the paparazzi in the trees and sneaking around with their long lens cameras than seeing J&K.

TMZ.com has posted that they filed for divorce today. (info coming from People). Also that Jon will be moving to New York. The NY thing seems odd to me.

I saw at the bottom, "Jon rushes someone to the hospital"? Does anyone know anything about this? So if they only filed today, will they address this tonight? I try to stay away, but they keep pulling me back in!

I also have read that he was looking at apartments in Trump Tower?! I suppose they'll do a split of the assets, and if what you read about how much they are paid per episode is true, there's probably a good amount of $$ there. But Trump Tower - so his 8 kids are going to visit him in Trump Tower? I'm sure it's a lovely place and very roomy, but you would think a man with 8 kids would want a place with a yard and all that.

I just had to drop in and report that the local news is reporting about the hysteria surrounding J&K's announcement tonight. They showed video of all the paparazzi staked out around their house and the fans. It's kinda crazy. I'm tempted to drive over there to see this craziness myself.

They just interviewed a woman who came all the way from Michiganto see their house. Who would do that?

The article says that the divorce papers were filed at the courthouse in Bucks county yet they live in Berks county. Is this a common thing to do?

So the divorce is not likely the 'announcement', b/c how would that bring peace to every member of their family? And it's not counseling, b/c of the divorce. And it can't be the show is ending b/c they are both spending like there is no tomorrow (new car, new apartment). It will be interesting. I'll be watching here for the update!

Aiden bumped his head and Jon took him in to be looked at. They showed them walking back out and Aiden had a band ade on his head. He was walking on his own and eating a lollipop.

I read that Jon had to take Aaden to the Reading Care Center becuase he bumped his head and has a cut on his forehead. Not sure where I read that though! Seems like the kids get hurt alot under his care, maybe he should pay a little more attention to what his kids are doing.

I suppose when marriages go up in flames that you try to hurt the other one more than they hurt you. I guess saying that he wants to move to NY would hurt her b/c it would be hurting the children.

They both know what they are doing. They both know that every step they make is in the news. Every person that they come in contact with is reported. What better way to one up the other person and cause them pain?
Especially if you are furious at your spouse.

Someone asked about the hospital visit: He was shown taking one of the kids to the ER the other day. Looked like a cut or something. Typical kid injury.
