I'm making our ADR's for the first time for our trip in September. Our first night will be Sept 15th so I will be calling at 700 on June 17th if my math is right. Should I ask for what I want in order by date or in order of what may be the hardest to get? Here's what I want:

9/15 - no ADR (just in case of a flight delay we won't miss anything)
9/16 - Whispering Canyon 6pm
9/17 - California Grill - 730pm
9/18 - SeaWorld - no ADR
9/19 - 50's Prime Time Cafe - 11am
9/19 - Raglan Road - 530pm
9/20 - Liberty Tree - 430pm
9/21 - Chef Mickey's - 530pm
9/22 - Akershus Breakfast - 10am

Should I ask for California Grill first and then request the rest in order? I'm guessing that I won't have too many problems since we're eating at relatively early times. Or am I worried about nothing. Any advice dear old Dad can get would be great:thumbsup2

Ask for them by what you think will be the hardest to get. I would put Cali Grill and the two character dinings at the top of your list though. :]

Be prepared with a range of times and it's not a bad idea to have a 2nd choice for the restaurants.

We are a party of 8 and im calling same day for my ADR's
Good luck and maybe we will see you there.

And i agree with putting hardest to get first.
My first request is Cinderella royal table for dinner
I hope its not tough with a party of 8 as its usually no more than 6 od us,usually just 4.

I agree with the hardest to get first. I did this today and was able to work around and get what we wanted. Some were much easier than others. :goodvibes

I booked mine today and did them completely by priority, not by date. The CM was fine with that and it didn't take very long at all.
Start with what you will think is the most difficult to get, or is the least flexible one, then work backwards down your list so that you are ending with the ones you won't be too disappointed in losing if you have to.

So Cali Grill, Akershus, and Chef Mickey's may be a problem? If I have to change times, how much should they change, 15 minutes, an hour or two?

Cool. Out of my list and times, what ones should be somewhat easy?

Being flexible helps, which means either adjusting the time or date, although I don't think you should have much trouble if you call at 7:00. We got all of ours for August 29-Sept 7 within about 15 minutes of our preferred time.
