3 reports + links to more- 8 days since May + conversations galore

The dreams are cracking me up 'cause I had a dream last night that I was alone at Disneyland and the last day forgot to check out of my room at the DLH and pack and put my stuff in storage. I was trying to get from the park back to the hotel, but in true dream-style, there were a million obstacles in my way and I couldn't! Funny!

Molly, what shoes does E have on when he's not in Crocs? They look like maybe Geox. I like them. Also, you need to stay at the GCH to round out your resort hotel experience. I really want to hear what would you have to say about that hotel. You can just tell them I sent you!:)

Hi Molly! I just found your TR, so I'm going to go back and start reading it now!

He brought his...gotta go look at 'em... If they are dark and orange striped, those are Stride Rite Infernos, and if they are white with black and red, those are just Avias. He really wanted the Skechers that "breathe" but I just couldn't find a good deal on them.

Welcome!

By the way, I must warn you billyfan...I still have not seen the Billies. :headache::flower3:

I was just about to mention that you must have omitted something from your report. Shame on you! Other than that, it sounds like you had a great trip. But we have a date during the next ladies' trip!!!!

I promise I will not turn it down the next time!

I'm SURE that hubby and son would love the show, but it's so hard to convince them to go inside a building, for some reason! Oh man, I'm going to have a difficult time at WDW, aren't I? Must start educating them now....

Still have "take pix of earrings" on my to do list.

I just can't decide if E and I should go to San Diego! Hubby is now on the side of we SHOULD go. That happened just as I started feeling guilty. We always do that...we'll be solidly on two sides of an issue (usually an UNimportant one), then overnight we swap. :rotfl:

I do have to do work, figuring out insurance, but maybe that will be easier away from my cluttered desk. Sure could swim a whole bunch!

Not, only that but think of the mental break, and then R wouldn't have to feel guilty about working so any hours. Thinking of it as a last hurrah before starting E's school and wearing the hat of being both Mom and teacher. Yes, I do have a degree in enabling.:rotfl:

Your post could'nt have come at a better time.

Robert was IMing me really quick, saying that he had to do something and he'd probably not be home until 8:30, unless we wanted to pick him up. I had to make sure he wasn't joking so I had him call me...he needs to test something, will be workign an hour or so, if I could pick him up it would be great. So I immediately start in on the "where is your office" and "when do you need us there" questions, we get through all of them, then he got all weird at me, b/c I guess I wasn't using the right tone of voice, the right chipper attitude, in being businesslike (oh man when will he start taking the anti-prolactin drugs?).

Sigh. So we got off the phone and I'm going to the DOT website to see if a kid counts as the second in a 2+ carpool lane, and he messages that he's sorry, he just feels pulled in two directions etc etc.

I know! And just an hour ago my brother booked E and me on a flight on Wednesday...coulda gotten out tomorrow but I thought it would be too soon for Robert!

Jinkies!

Well, I think it will be a good trip for all then.:goodvibes

All is better. Whew.

The question, for journal-arranging-preparing purposes, is...where's the folder we got when we checked in?????

And why haven't I taken a pic of my earrings?

I loved your TR!

You crack me up lady! I can't believe that our server at WCT remembered you and what you ordered?! He must have an excellent memory.:thumbsup2

Your little Eamon is a doll! One of these days we will have to get our two little redheads together. :goodvibes Maddie turns 5 in November. But she is more like 4 going on 15.:sad2:

I cannot wait to read another report from you (hopefully soon).

It was very weird that he remembered...I could have brushed it off like I was mis-hearing, but it seemed really specific!

That would be fun to have the kidlets meet. Has she started to wonder why her hair gets SO much attention? E has...and of course it's extra attention b/c neither of us have the same hair...but then, I know you have dark hair, does your hubby's hair look like your girl's? It's starting to bug the poor kid, and I wish it wouldn't, but I have no idea how to keep him from starting to dislike his hair (as I disliked mine for all the attention the curls got).

It's official, we're going to San Diego tomorrow, and since DLR won't cost (that much) more money, we will VERY likely have a day trip. Yay. If anyone is going to be around at DLR some time in the next week (most likely a week DAY) and wants to *maybe* meet up if only just for a little bit, PM me your number! That includes you, Cheryl, as I haven't yet put it into my phone. Now if my brother chooses to go I might not call, but if it's just me and E I will!

Of course me being me I was trying to figure out if I could use some points and stay at PPH for a night (if brother doesn't join us at DLR) rather than making the late-night drive back to San Diego, but then someone on the DVC boards mentioned that we can't use Bay Lake points *anywhere* until Bay Lake opens...on one hand it makes sense, but on the other it doesn't, and my guide is off until Wednesday...harumph.

Well lookie there, my sweet kind guide glossed over that little bit. He's been SO good about explaining so much, even the '10 change in points allocation, but that bit of "the developer's points are to make up for you not being able to use them until August" wasn't communicated to us at all. Back in '07, we were being offered developer's points for SSR, and SSR could be used then, so I never even thought that they were being offered to "make up" for anything. Harumph.

So obviously this is now being turned into a pre-day-trip trippie, LOL.

If brother goes with, I'll force him to DCA b/c he's never been. He used to like coasters with a loop, back when we were kids going to Great America, so maybe he'll like Screamin'. If not, E and I will hop.

Where are you tag fairy??????

Molly--let me know when you decide to go to DLR--can't promise I can come over but will try. I'll PM my cell number just in case.

Hi Molly,

Just found this TR and I have to say thanks so much! I'm taking my Mom on a surprise girl's weekend for her birthday in July - and we're staying at the DLH - our first time - and it was so great to read your take on everything.

Lisa

Glad it helped!

We're still figuring out if/when for Disney...SIL is trying to get us to stay much longer than anticipated, poor Robert!

Jobs news, hubby's contract was extended through mid-August (1.5 months longer than his initial contract), with more extensions being worked towards by his bosses, and they're even hopeful for something more permanent. yay hubby!
