Yeah, we all had to introduce ourselves to each other since many of us had never met aside from briefly on the meet thread. I wish I had taken my trip notes with me to the park that day so I could have jotted down screennames and names so I wouldn't forget, oh well.

Oh my gosh, the DIS meet looked like so much fun. I love that they brought Aurora over for some photos. How awesome is that!? And neat you had your own private PP photographer too. Great pictures.

I am going Sept 12th thru 20th staying at POP!!!!So it will be easy for me to meet up with other Poppers but with the whole gang maybe a little harder at the Parks! I know already Grace will be at Pop and I definatelyplan on meeting up with her !!

Yeah it was easy to spot people in a crowd. If I saw a lime shirt I was like "oh a diser!"

The whole meet was amazing and the photographer and Aurora were such a special touch and the fact that Disney did that for us free of charge was amazing.

After saying goodbye to all of our friends, old and new, we made our way over to Italy.

We still had 15 minutes or so until the World Showcase Players were due to be out so we did a bit of wandering. Mom headed into the shops and I of course took pictures.

I found a seat at one of the outdoor tables, my feet were killing me! So since I was in so much pain I just decided to stay put and let Mom find me instead of going off to look for her.

Mom found me and we sat around and waited for The Players to come out. Once they did we got up and went over to watch. The World Showcase Players put on a performance in Italy much like the one in England except this one is dubbed Romeo and Edna. And much like the King Arthur show this one relies on audience participation. They pick two people from the audience, one to play Romeo and one to play Edna. Well who should they pick to play the prestigious role of Edna? They picked Mom of course!

I had to push her out there as she stood stone still when they chose her. Nice daughter, eh?

It was freaking hilarious! Of course I got the whole of Mom's performance on video. I only wish that I had started recording from the very beginning of the show so I could have gotten Mom's reaction on video as well. Alek and Erich thought it was highly entertaining as well when we showed it to them, too bad they weren't there to see it in person.

Mom starring in Romeo and Edna

After the show was over Mom was awarded with a pin stating that she was now a member of the World Showcase Players! Hurray Mom!

I am so glad that it was Mom who got picked for one of these and not me, I would have been mortified! I could handle doing the France one as all I had to do was sit in a chair, one of these though, where you have to act in front of a crowd! I am incredibly shy, no way I could have pulled it off. Mom was a good sport though and she wasn't even mad at me for pushing her out there when they chose her.

Right as the show finished it started to rain so we ran for cover along with everybody else. We ran into a few MMM disers also sheltering from the rain so of course I had to tell them all about Mom's big debut.

Mom and I decided to make a run for the Friendship boat queue as we were ready to leave the park for the day. While waiting for the boat Mom had a run-in with her Romeo, it was fate!

It was only a brief sun shower and the rain was pretty much done by the time the boat arrived. We sat in the back outside so I could take some pictures.

It was Norway's Constitution Day or something like that so they had a whole bunch of extra flags flying that day.
