Thomas Cook owners file for Bankruptcy

I see that Arcandor, the owners of Thomas Cook have filed for bankruptcy in Germany - not sure how that would effect Thomas Cook in the UK?

its to do with the lack of bonding in Germany (the equivalent of our ABTA) so it shouldn't realistically affect thomas cook high street branches at all, I expect their head office will have some in house changes but to be honest their admin is so appalling its probably a good thing.
