Vero Beach Question

This is probably a dumb question BUT, can you take your own adult beverages with you to the pool? In a cooler?
We leave tomorrow for three days to Vero. :cool1:
We haven't been there before and are looking forward to it. Any advice for first timers to Vero?

Ah! No glass, that makes sense. Ok, well just bring the large plastic cups. We usually just buy the bevies but we are on a budget this year.

We got back from Vero a few weeks ago. I hope you love it as much as we did. The campfires (free s'mores) were great and we enjoyed hanging out by the pool. The only thing I would do differently was skip the onsite restaurant. We were ready to pay a bit more for dinner but was expecting Disney quality food and service...unfortunately, we got neither...it wasn't terrible, but just wasn't up to par...

Fortunately, the rest of the service at the resort was what we were expecting!

Have a great time --

Thanks for the tip Dadwholoves Disney.
Can anyone suggest an off property restaurant that has great food reasonably? Or even a restaurant to avoid?

Don't know if you have seen the VB info thread yet. Click here If we purchase meals it is usually either from bleachers or room service, but that rarely happens.

From one Gator to another, have a great trip Arthur! Oh, and we take our own beverages to the pool all the time. I'm a captain and coke drinker, so I always bring a refillable mug from WDW (hey its a legal reuse:) and take that to the pool. The only bad part is hiking back to the room when I need a refill:lmao:

I was at the Dunes Cove pool at BCV last week and people actually brought glass bottles of beer/coolers and wine to the pool. I couldn't believe someone would do this.

 The Captain & Diet Coke for me please! :rotfl: My motto is "Have Captain will travel"!! I packed a few of the big red plastic cups in our Owners Locker so I could take the Captain to the Disney pools with me. (There is a running joke in our neighborhood whenever we see people with the big red plastic cups...we're known here as "red cup people"!:rotfl:) I packed some bottle & can huggies in our OL too along with some plastic wine glasses. We would never take glass products to the pool. The huggies are still nice to have around tho.

My husband always packs our bullet. I buy sugar free powdered margarita mix and bring it with (easy to pack). We bring a refrigerator container with us and take that down to the pool with cups in my beach bag. We've never taken them on the beach though. We use the container on the way home to pack our shells that we pick up on the beach.
