Relax boys, the belly dancer does not want your singles! 9/2 final update p.87

I have yet to try Cracker Barrel. What is it? What kind of food?

Heavy and greasy but some of the stuff is tasty.

:faint: Yeah, but how big a fan of the Southern foods are you?

See note above ;)

Cracker Barrel is a Southern tradition. I usually stick to the breakfast menu regardless of the time of day. They have biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken, fried apples, grits, hashbrown casserole, mmmm I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

It sounds delicious! America really DOES have all the best restaurants!

Their hashbrown casserole is delish but that's the only thing I really like there. :thumbsup2

I've only eaten at Cracker Barrel a couple of times (but never in Utah) and I don't think I've ordered the right things. But I do like the hash brown casserole too--kind of the southern equivalent of Utah's funeral potatoes, which I love.

I also like the store where you can buy candy and John Deere merchandise.

:rotfl2: ::yes:: The store is the best! They have all of the old time candy; Razzles, Necco Wafers, sugar sticks............:cloud9: And great chachkis! :thumbsup2

You say heavy and greasy like that's a BAD thing! mmmmm......

Honestly, I don't think I have ever met a potato that I DIDN'T like!

Lol, I have never heard of any of those candies!

Oh Tracy, I'm so sad for your Necco wafer-less childhood! :goodvibes (Actually, Neccos are basically straight sugar, kind of flat round versions of valentine's conversation hearts. I ate many as a kid, but not so many anymore.)

Perfect description! :thumbsup2 I put links a page back. Fun site!

Thanks, Jenny! I feel much better educated on the subject now!

Lol. Thanks Bev! I DO feel a little deprived now that I know I missed out!

Yeah, but being from the South, we eat fried foods, breaded foods and fried breaded foods. In fact we even have fried breaded bread and call it hush puppies. :rotfl: I'm beginning to think that's why there might be a higher percentage of obesity in that region though.:confused3

I've never had funeral potatoes, but if they're anything like the hash brown casserole they must be good.

I  the store. Especially the chocolate/coffee section.

:goodvibes I just made up a bag of candy from the site to have sent to my dad for Father's Day. :thumbsup2

Could be. ;)

Funeral potatoes kick booty! Creamier than HC. :thumbsup2

It's really fun.

2 for 99 cents baby....mmmmm I can taste the soy meat right now.

:cloud9: :lovestruc Oh I love them so!

Soy meat???? Really? Regardless, I love them. I think I ate mine AND Keith's a couple of weeks ago when he forgot to specify no cheese on his. Okay, I don't think, I know. I was just trying not to sound like such an oinker cause I seemed to obsess over food on here today.

It's not really soy meat, is it?

Love the update Keith! I especially like the photo of you and Tracy on the boat ride over- cool sky!

It was so good to see you both and it had been FAR too long! :snooty: But lucky me gets you guys in August too!

When leaving TSM, that's exactly what I said to the kids!!! :woohoo: They about ran me over trying to get to you!

I don't have a single photo of you and I together. I do have more from that night so I will type a little blurb and add the photos. Jenna may have something to add as well.

I am going to have to try Chefs one of these trips; it looks yum by that dessert photo.

I think that might be the only exterior photo of the OKW between the 3 of us. We suck. You gotta admit the OKW was pretty neat though.

Thanks!

Damn skippy you're lucky! :p

It was great seeing you all!

That's weird. But I guess when you were around, I was too busy with the kids. I didn't get to talk to M as much as I would have liked either! I did get some good Nate "the homeboy" time tho! He's a righteous dude. Like M and me! No wonder we all clicked (again).

Les Chefs rocks!

No Tracy took a few at the end of the trip. :)

Like Keith said, there were hugs all around. It was awesome seeing close friends! It had been too long since we were all together! Here are a few pics from TSM:

Love 'em!

I think think think Keith and Tracy came back to the Villa to check it out. Jenna, Keith, Tracy; how off am I? I should have taken notes like last trip. I don't remember what we had for dinner that night.

We did! And it was dope!

I wouldn't have minded if she ASKED me.. she just kept saying, "oh, you'll want the waterpark option!". Over and over. Until I am practically yelling, "I do NOT like waterparks!!!" :lmao:

The third time was the charm!

The half of the chicken that had the LEG!!!

And I devoured it! Yum.

Okay, that HAD to be intentional! Out of the 3 boat pics, there was ONE I said don't use...:sad2:

Weirdo. I think people know the difference between a candid pic and someone actually scowling!

Actually Jenny, I took a few, but Keith wouldn't post them! I think that I took them the next day and trip report purist that he is, he wouldn't put them up out of order, even when I pointed out that it would make more sense to post them on day 1!

That's right! I ain't postin' Day 4 pics on Day 1's report!

As much as it pains me to say this and I know you know, I have to agree with Keith on this. I like an orderly trippie too.

:faint:

She did, along with our stock of Diet Pepsi and Gatorade that she so kindly supplied us with! (I think it may have been mentioned once or twice here how sweet Jenna and Nate are...)

Yes! That was so nice of them! That G2 saved me! Thanks again Jenna and Nate!!

that is at a flat-out awesome picture and may just be worth the small fortune it costs to buy the real picture at the end of the ride!

Thank you! I wish we had purchased it!

Nate, Keith, and Michael: whoda thunk it?! :cool1:

We are the dream team, baby!

Second, great update Keith (& Tracy)!:thumbsup2 Love the pics too! It was so good to see you guys after so long. We can't have it be that long before we see each other again.:rolleyes1 I'll work on that one.;)

Thanks Jenna! And, you better! ;)

Up next: Epcot and the reason for the title. popcorn::

:woohoo:

Kinda, huh?! But they all have Disney babes! :p

Um, I think you mean you gals have studs! :cool2:

Keith, CoP is ONE of my favorites as well. I wish they had never replaced the one at DL.

You are a smart man.

Keith I really enjoyed you segment too. In Tracy's defense "there's always room for desert".

Well, I did find it funny that even though she made me finish 75% of her meals, I can't recall one time her asking for my assistance polishing off her desserts! lol

Yes, I will literally go to another country for better yogurt. Now that I have confessed that, do you people still want to be my friends? :lmao:

I don't! :rotfl:

;)

The old rumor was that they are made from baby kangaroo meat but regardless, that Joey tastes good! :cloud9: :rotfl2:

Damn skippy you're lucky! :p

I guess I am only half as lucky; no Tracy. :sad1:

Love 'em!

:thanks: It was nice actually having a camera this trip. :rolleyes1

Do you need some smelling salts? :rotfl:

Um, I think you mean you gals have studs! :cool2:

::yes:: While I believe Michael is a stud, I would not say a Disney stud. :lmao:

The big reunion sounds fantastic, I still can't get over you all met on the web, there again it was hugs all round at the Focker meet :rotfl:

Well, that's what I've heard. I'm not 100% sure, but about 99% sure. I don't care. It tastes good. I could do 4 no prob, but I'd pay later if you know what I mean.
