Just a warning.
This is going to be one heck of a multi-quote.
You just know I'm going to be thinking of the two of you as Romy and Michele now don't you?
I so love that movie.
Direct and to the point. TK's Disney self summed up in one sentence.
Although I can be rather verbose and confusing, much like the good captain, every now and then, I come out with a concise nugget like that.
Again, wonderfully straight and to the point! (Lawyers must love you!
)
It's funny you mention that. I've had several people tell me I missed my true calling, in the field of law. Funny thing is, it's one of the careers my Granddad considered. Another funny thing is we're both very good actors.
Coincidence?
Where we stayed: It was a hotel. On Disney property. With beds.
Where you live?
But let me say this. What would a Tinkerbellarella Disney TR report be without car trouble?
And what would a TK TR be without someone getting sick?
Poor TK, by the time I arrived at her house (which takes about 2 hours from where I am) my hair was probably sticking up all over the place and I looked like I needed a straight jacket.
Actually, you looked quite lovely, but very, very stressed. I felt badly.
By the way, it can't be overstated, TK and her family are lovely. They made me tacos. Her DS calls me Auntie Tink. Her DH teases me as if I was one of the family.
Aw, shuckles. We think you're alright, too.
After dinner and finding two little sparrows performing "adult activities" on her porch (NO JOKE, after the initial shock and awe we were hysterical),
Part of me is surprised you mention the sparrow action...heh heh...and part of me is hysterical. It's too bad you didn't have a camera trained on my face when I figured out what they were doing.
Seriously? We know how to do a sleepover.
I remember looking at the clock at 9:00 thinking, 'We should hit the hay soon if we have to be up at 6:00.'
I thought the same thing at 9:30.
10:00.
Finally, at 11:30 we conceded that if we didn't go to sleep, the next day could be disastrous.
First of all, I am horrible at sleeping on Disney Vacation Eve. Throw a girlfriend into the mix? OMG, I don't remember the last time...wait, that's a lie. The last time I had a sleepover with friends was my bachelorette party.
:::ahem:::
On June 22, we'll have been married for seven years.
:::ahem:::
DANCING PINEAPPLES!!!!!!!!!!
Way to bring it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Doesn't she always?!.....
Hey! I resemble that remark.
Devils don't wear tiaras, kwim?!
That so should have been the trip report title.
Well that explains a lot! For some reason eating at Casey's comes to mind...
I don't know why you would ever say such a thing.
I can just tell what an amazing time you all had......say, you were there at the same time LL was!!!! Is there a DISmeet in our future?!?!?!?!?!??!
Actually, there is, but it's not with who you may think.
No, what was indecent was the little public display put on by those sparrows on your deck.
Indeed.
SOMETHING NEW!!!! I swear, I learned it from him.
CHA-CHING!
You know what that sound is? More being added to TK's Debt to Be Repaid.
It is vast. Given that I'd really like to stay deluxe in 2010, it'll be even worse.
All signs of a quality vacation. I keep trying to guess where by TK's first picture. The bright yellow is throwing me. I'm going to have to guess POP, with CB as my backup.
I wondered if anyone would be able to tell from the color.
DS asks for his Auntie Tink on a regular basis. Matter of fact, yesterday, it was more of a whiny...."I..wa-ant...Auntie Ti-ink."
Is it weird to be so excited about a trip report that A) I did not go on and B) a trip where I know neither of the reporters?? Loving it so far, don't tease us for too long!!!
Short answer: no.
Long answer:
to the DIS!
