Star Wars vs disney.. The Rainy adventure

So We are back from star wars weekends which was may 22-25. Our troop was me, my husband, my sister ,our friend kat, my husbands bestfriend, and our godson.

3 day park hopper

We left from stewart airport in newburge ny to orlando. We arrived on time with rain coming down. As we walked to the magical express we all became excited.

We look outside and it is a downpour. Yikes rain all weekend? The cast members at the magical express where every pushy. Last time i took magical express they wanted one family member to check your party in. as i went to check us in while the smokers in the group when outside. in a very rude voice she said is you whole party here. With a big smile on my face i said no. well the whole family has to be here she barked at me. woo ok not a problem. I understand things change. we got in line to take the bus and ya we are on the bus. We sat in the back of the bus. My sister said dont sit there. What? Why? she turned around and her backside was soaked. As we made turns water was pouring in to the bus. we never laughed so hard.

We checked in to the pop. My sisters name was wrong on the rezzy so they changed it with out a problem.

Our rooms where not ready. so we had lunch. 4 of us had the parm chicken and it was so yummy. 1 had a burger and the godson had the kids burger. the godson was not happy he wanted a big meal and was so hungry. he is 8 and the meal plan was a childs meal plan. not good for him he has a bottomless pit of a stomach

Then the fun started we each bought the plastic rain coats and headed to star wars weekend.

So it started to rain again so we desided to go to toy story we waited in line it said 70 min. well what are we going to do lets wait and get dry. so as we wait out side the water is running down my front in the disney rain coat. My hair is so wet i took off the hood. we had a family behind us that did not no personal space. we enter the inside finally. we look and i said lets get out of the line and check the special shop for star wars. so we did

so this day was a waste of a day the cameria pretty much stayed in my bag due to the rain. my hubby and i did not want to go on tower of terror so the others with us went as we walked toward our adr. the wait was 20 minutes for tower of terror .

it finally stoped raining and i was staring to dry out for dinner.

The rain had stopped as we wait for our adr's at sci fi

the food.everyone had the steak i had the ribs. everyone loved the steak. the ribs. not that good very dry and i was picking the meat out of the teeth for 2 days

it was very hard to get the pictures of the food. by the time i got my cameria out because i had to keep it in my bag because of the rain they had already started to eat. so this is pretty much the only photos i have of food.

After we where done with dinner it was time to leave the park as it was closing. This first picture is of the new signs they have

this first day was a wash out for star wars. as we where living the park we noticed people off on the left side as you leave. what are they doing there? well there where signs up for the fast pass's for star wars celebs. they where camping out. I said we better get back to the room go to sleep and get here early. for the autograph fast pass's

yes they where there at the closing of the park im not sure they let them stay but my next update will tell you more about what happened

We wake up at 5:30 and have breakfast at the pop. we get on the bus for starwars weekends. yes again. my hubby wanted to do star wars each day and today was the day we would get the fast pass for ray parks. it is warm sunny and going to be a great day.

the line at 7:45 was long. I had the dh get in line for the autograph while i went to get my birthday fast pass's.

The line begins to move we are almost up to the front. "Ray Parks fast pass's are sold out. we get in the next one jay's all sold out. ok warwick. sorry only stand by.

Well my dh storms off turns to me and says make sure you tell that board your on that this fast pass thing is a joke. He was so upset. and i was so glad we did not bring the stand we have for the lightsaber.

so there is a long line to get in the park and a light bulb goes off in my head. Hey its extra morning hours. follow me troops. we cut to the front and go in. all the while my dh kept saying that board you on you better tell them about this fast pass thing. People camping out... ext just mumbling all the way through the front of the park.

My sister was waiting for american idol experience to open so she could try out. My god son was going to try to get on the star wars jedi academy.

I waited with my sis as the boys went off on there own doing rides.

My sis and i go into american idol. they look at her and say do you have a adult with you so you can try out they look at me and say is she with you. My sis says yes but im older then you think. im 29 lol. We go in she try's out in the first room. as i sit there my phone goes off. duh "mom trudy is trying out for american idol i will call you back" Happy birthday chrissie here is your little sis. omg i will call you back click." My sis is so nevous her shirt is shakeing i have never seen that. The women say calm down get the nerves undercontrol and congratz you are moveing on... Woot

We wait in the waiting room. Phone rings again.. Mind you my ring ton is splash mountain laughing place.. My dad "Hey happy birthday' "Dad cant talk right now trudy is doing american idol... Then there is the question. Omg dad i will call you when we are done.

She goes in to the second tryout. I wait there. 5 minutes later she comes out no pass i start to leave as i open the door the cast member says look and my sister is holding the vote for me laynard. OMG You did it. What a birthday present for me.

A little back story i have gone to 3 real amercian idol tryouts with her... They where not the funnest thing.

So after my sister made it on american idol we need to go to the show at 11:30 So as i was walking to see where the boys where the jedi acadamey was going on and there my godson is fighting darth maul. i run up ask some people is i could get up front to take a pic and then said thank you and found the other 2 big boys.

Well my sis went to the bathroom on her way out r2d2 came by stopped infront of her and made noice and turned his head. So when she came back and said some tin can just did this thing and they guy with the remote said it was him she had no clue.

O Kat she had not been in the pic this morning. She slept in late and would be coming to see trudy on the big stage.
