Birthday Fun Card--Late Pick-up??

We arrive at WDW on my DH's birthday. We are annual pass holders. We're flying to FL but probably won't arrive at the WDW grounds until 10 p.m. We're staying at SSR and I already know that MK has EMH until 1 a.m. If we high-tailed it over to WDW before midnight would we still be able to pick up his birthday fun card that late? As far as I know, the Birthday benefits can only be picked up on the actual date of the birthday--and a free $75 sounds like a good deal to me! Any input? :confused3

1- Yup.

2- Me too. Guest Relations/Will Call outside MK gates will still be open if MK is.

Guests need to present photo identification with proof of birth date at time of redemption.
Children will need valid identification as well. Age/Birth date listed on the resort reservation is not considered valid proof of birth.
Guests must go to the designated "Will Call" windows at Vacation Planning locations. At Magic Kingdom only, Guest's may visit Guest Relations. Guest Relation's at the other three Theme Parks and Downtown Disney are not able to assist Guest's with the Free on your Birthday offer.
The Birthday Fun Card does not expire until value is completely used. It does not have to be used on your birthday.
The offer is only valid on your birthdate with proper identification in 2009.
Birthday Offer Redemption is not open during evening extra magic hours and is only available during regular park operating hours outside the gates at the Will call windows of each park.

I think I read this on the official Walt Disney Site, but I couldn't find it so I searched & found it on a thread here. It specifically states that you can NOT pick up your birthday fun card during EMH. I'm running into the same problem. We don't arrive untill 10:45pm on my birthday & MK is suppose to be open till 12:00am, but I'm not sure we'll make it in time. :sad2:

I think the good news for us is the regular hours that day end at 1:00 a.m. and there are EMH beyond that. We're arriving on July 10th--and according to the WDW website --Park Hours on that date are 9 a.m.-1 a.m. then it also says EMH--I don't think the EMH are included in the park hours listed. Does anyone know for sure?

On July 10, regular closing at MK is 10:00pm, EMH is to 1:00am. It's possible hours could be extended before your trip, which would help you out.

From disneyworld.com:

Friday, July 10
9:00 AM Park Opens
<snip>
9:00 PM "SpectroMagic" Parade (Entertainment)
10:00 PM Wishes™ Nighttime Spectacular (Entertainment)
10:00 PM Park Closes
10:00 PM Extra Magic Hours (10:00 PM-1:00 AM)

My DS got his fun card on 6/5 and spent part of it that day today 6/6 he spent more and there was 37.16 left. I tried to use it at the hotel an hour ago and it would not work it came up error. The concierge said they were only good on your birthday?

DS was so angry. If any one knows for sure it does not expire that day please pm me so I can plead my case in the morning.

TIA

Again I'm not finding anything official on the Walt Disney Site, but I googled it & just about everywhere says that it no longer expires including many threads here & the following from allears:

Q. Does the BFC ever expire?
A. When the program was first announced, the BFC had to be used on your birthday, however that announcement was amended on 12/31/08 and the BFC no longer has an expiration date. NOTE: In the official fine print of the brochure given to BFC recipients, Disney makes it clear that they reserve the right to change the program in any way at any time without notice, so at some point in the future, the BFC may indeed expire if Disney wants it to.
