Where do you guys think the best place for dinner at MK is?
We don't want to go to LTT because the character meal is too expensive:headache:

Counter, Table, we're up for anything!

LTT isn't a character meal any longer - I don't know if they changed the price because of that or not.

Best for dinner at MK - I don't really like anything at MK for TS dinner, personally.

For CS, I like Columbia Harbor House.

Is the only thing on the menu at TSS that meat platter thing?

If LTT is too expensive, that probably leaves out Crystal Palace and Tony's for table service. I've never been to the Plaza (have an ADR for this summer) but I think it's the most reasonable table service.

Columbia Harbour House is our favorite counter service.

Could you just hop on the monorail and eat at one of the hotels?? MUCH better choices!!

For the MK, our favorite CS places are Cosmic Ray's and Pinnochio's; our favorite TS place is Tony's. I know it gets a lot of mixed reviews on here, but I think everyone should try it and not just go by what someone else said. What you may like, others may not!

Our favorite counter service at MK is definitely Cosmic Rays (lots of choices). Columbia House Harbor is a close second. Our favorite table service dinner at the Magic Kingdom is definitely The Plaza Restaurant. After all the heavy meals we eat all week at the other table service restaurants, the soups, salads and sandwiches are a nice change of pace. But be sure to leave room for the awesome desserts.

I love Cosmic Ray's for a CS meal. They have ribs, burgers, roasted chicken, it is a nice atmosphere too.

It is close to astro orbitor too, and that would be a nice ride after dinner as I love to ride it to look at all the lights at night.

That is what we do. Doesn't really take too much time. We've eaten at Grand Floridian Cafe and O'hana and enjoyed them both. Plus, it's a nice opportunity to ride the monorail (which the kids enjoy) and to see the resorts (which DH and I like to do)

Columbia Harbor house is one of my favorite CS in all of WDW. And it is not too expensive.
Crystal Palace is a good buffet for any meal of the day.
We went to The Plaza for the first time in April and had a HORRIBLE experience. The food was okay but the service was by far the worst we have ever had in Disney and it took us 1 1/2 hours just for salads/sandwhiches. After futher review on these boards it seems to be a common theme there, so personally I would skip The Plaza if I were you.

I'm sorry about your experience at Plaza. We've always had good service there and we've gone every year for the last five years. I see you are going with your daughter for her visit to WDW and staying at the CSR--have a great time (it is our favorite resort).
