We are going into brum on Sunday (shopping and football) im considering driving in because the train times are rubbish !!

Can anyone advise me where best to park and how much it might cost ?

Mandy reccomended the bullring but says that might be pretty expensive for the whole day

thanks :)

Have you checked the times from Nuneaton Nat? Parking at the station is £3.50 per day for Sundays.

There are direct trains from Nuneaton to Birmingham New Street at 11:01 and 12:01 and return direct trains at 16:22, 17:22, 18:22

£8.30 return.

The NCP car park by the childrens hospital is £5 all day !! I go on weds so will check out the street name for you off top of my head its Corporation street but I may be wrong!! Defo got a special offer on at weekends though thats why its so cheap !!

is that within walking distance of the city centre ?

I tend to park at the Bull ring (Moor Street car park) as it is easily signposted from the A38 and is easy to get out. If you go up onto level 8 you literally walk across a walk way directly into Selfridges. It isn't anymore expensive than many city centre car parks and from memory it cost about £8 when I parked there all day. I don't know much about any other car parks though - sorry.

Yes hun we used to use it all the time for toys r us !! Its a 2 min walk to m&s and 10 mins tops to the bull ring !! I use it *** its easy to get back onto the road home - Im a bit thick with the one way sytem if I use the bull ring car park !!
Ill defo get back to you with the name of car park and road its on on weds !!

Hi Natalie i am going to ask DH to ask about in the office he works in Birmingham city centre so someone is sure to know.

I must say I love Birmingham for shopping and a box of Krispie Kreme's for when I get home.

:offtopic: What is the new shopping centre in Leicester like Nat, have you been?

Oooh I need to keep an eye on this thread DF is taking me to Birmingham for my birthday weekend - partly to visit Cadbury's World :cloud9:

Cadbury world is fab, a day out there became the basis for my 1st visit from the tag fairy :cool1:
