Chapter 39. Now its time to say goodbye.
We were not looking forward to the morning since it was our last moments in disney.
When we got back to our room the night before we had that dreaded ME hanging from our door. It said our pickup time would be 9:15.
So we woke up at 7:00 like every other morning and finished packing some stuff up and candi nursed parker. Aunt melissa took her stuff to her car.
I forgot to take apicture of the room when we got there, so here are a few i snapped before we left.
There is the pack and play that disney provided to us for free for parker to sleep in, and you can see it was right before we left, everyone else was gone and i had my suitcase in themirror and ready to roll out of there.

i cant stop turning back and taking pictures of the rooms.
melissa dropped us at the ME area, and we said our goodbyes to here, we were going to see her in less than a week for christmas up north again.
we checked our luggage in and they weighed it and loaded it onto the carts to take to the airport. we then went in the gift shop like we do every day and looked around, we were pumped that morning they marked down everything christmas to 50% off, and it was still almost 2 weeks away, so we looked and looked but candi did not want to spend any money.
We were doing good all week with out spending any of our money.
If you remeber, we had $250 dollars from our sunshine rewards account that i earned to cash in for the trip, (i have over $60) already for our next trip earned. another $200 or so from birthday gift cards from people and $80 that i earned on my disney visa credit card to spend during the week.
well we used those all week for everything from food to souveniours to drinks and used our last money to get my yearly shot glass for my collection and some decks of cards.
So since i told candi we would not spend any of our money on the trip and use only the Gift cards to sell the trip to her she said nope, but was reallly looking hard at some stuff. she wanted me to get that stuff since it was still part of the birthday present for me that she saved her birthday gift cards to buy me stuff.
i love that about her, she always thinks of me and saved her birthday gift card to buy me stuff with it.
so we filled our mugs and went back out to the waiting area.
as we were sitting there she gets her sad look on her face.
i try andmake one and i always look grumpy.
i ask her what is wrong and she says well even though i did not want to spend money i really liked that >*#&@(@(@( inside, i say well then why did you not let me get that for you, she says i dont know, its too late now its 9:11 and the bus will be here in 4 minutes.
i say ohh yeah, its never to late for dan.
i took off running inside, i knew that she could nto follow with all our carry on stuff and watching parker, so i was gone.
i ran inside and found what she wanted which was also 40% off, and got her a matching mickey and minnie ornaments that had big bottoms on them with the castle all light up painted on them. i get back outside and not a minute later this is what i see.
so what did she want and what was 40% off?
a mickey santa hat with mickey ears, she loved it and wore it the whole way home even on the plane and all the way to our house. she even started to cry a little when i showed her the ornaments and realized we were on the bus leaving and was sad.

leaving our home for the last week,
as we are driving over to the all star resorts to pick up a few more people to go to the airport, i ask parker if he had a good trip and this is the reaction i get,
im gonna eat you or kiss you.
and he ate the camera lense.
he is amused by the mcdonalds
i text scottny back and forth to the airport, because he was landing as we were driving there, and seeing if we could meet at the airport, well found out last minute we were getting dropped off on the other side of airport away from where the ME check in counter was so we wished him a good trip then went up to security...
parker was owning those TSA agents he could have been holding a gun and he would have gotten through, from the first one that checked our ID's to the one that was running the xray machine to the guy at the metal detector it was very funny to see tough guys and girls break down for a cute baby.
we hopped aboard the fake monorail train and made our way to our depature terminal.
and i see the most glorious site i have been waiting for since last trip home.
ohh soo gooooood, chili dog, and a cheese steak.
candi got her typical burger king whopper, and we were down to our gate.
while me and parker were waiting to get my hot dog, there was a NY couple that were falling all over parker, and parker was smiling right back at the lady, and trying to steal her from her man.
when we got to our gate, and started to eat our lunch, there was a lady flipping out, she was very upset that they over booked her flight and did not have enough seats for the whole family, was very loud and was not even talking to the gate agents, was just yelling about it to her family, saying she would never fly with them again even if theyoffered her 1 million dollars, i said i would and candi told me to quite down.
it did make for an interesting wait.
parker started to stare and smile at the lady for a good five minutes and she kept looking at him out of the corner of her eye...she did not crack once.
then finally she looked at him, and she cracked a little smile back at him...and she said to parker.
"do you think it is funny we have no seat on our flight"
parkers response,
no kidding right away he laughed at her, it was awesome, and everyone around us cracked up and i could tell they were thinking at least it was the cute baby laughing at her and not us.
while getting on we saw that this was the 100th plane made for air tran
we boarded without a problem and while on the runway waiting to take off, candi started to nurse parker to let him fall asleep, he slept on her for an hour and a half and then when he woke up and it was time to change him, he had a very smelly diaper...i love the changing tables in the bathrooms so cool how they come out of the wall, parker was just saying dada you need to get me off here,this is weird.
parker then played for alittle bit, and candi nursed him again while we were landing to help his ears from popping.
he got a pair of wings from the flight attendant when we were deboarding.
we called my parents and they were waiting in the cell phone lot, and we went down to get our luggage.
it came out within 15 minutes, and we called the parents to pick us up and we were on our way home.
Candi feed parker, and my parents took parker home with them, and we got ready for our company christmas dinner which i had to go to even though we were tired, since i am on the committee for it.
parker slept for over 12 hours that night and we went to pick him up the next morning
now dont go anywhere everyone, i have about 3 more chapters left with final thoughts, things we bought, plans for future trips and some other fun stuff.
plus a trading card update.

Look at Parker charming all the ladies. Who can blame them though, he is adorable and always has that sweet smile.
