I just got back from the Poly 2 weeks ago and I was pretty bummed that I didn't get a bounceback offer (nothing in the room). But I'm holding out hope because someone on this thread mentioned that they got theirs 3 weeks after they returned. So I was wondering, when did you get your bounceback offer?

The bounceback was in our room! Just a flyer after talking with cm you can call fd and ask If they are offering a deal

I have never heard of a Bounceback that could be booked AFTER departure. Normally, Bouncebacks MUST be booked and the depoist paid while you're still a resort guest. The poster must have received a pin code in the mail, not a Bounceback. It's easy to get all these savings names mixed-up;).

Hello! My brother and I are inside our 10 days prior to arrival at the Poly. We're searching high and low looking for a link or url to get us to the online check-in. Does anyone have this?

Do they give bounce back offers to everyone? We stayed at the YC several years ago and never got one. We staying at Poly this year (in Oct) and my wife and I were just talking about these offers. We booked through AAA both times. Could that be the reason why we did not get one.

I think they are left in the room by mousekeeping, in between guests. If you don't get one and other people are getting them, I would either check with the resort or call the bounceback# to try to get the code. You would have to do this before you checked out, of course.:)

There was a bounce back offer sheet in my families room this past December at the Contemporary, however we didn't take advantage of it because of the days it was being offered for August 2009 did not work out for us. I am not sure how they decide who gets one, although this August my family and I are booked for the 4/3 deal and in December we got the AAA rate, so I guess we will have to wait and see if we get another one.

We booked our last package at WL through AAA, and we got a bounceback offer...the clock-shaped ad on the table in the room. I'm sure it has nothing to do with AAA. Bouncebacks are offered periodically, not all the time, to fill rooms when expected occupancy is low (like now). If you don't get one, ask. It could be a mistake of the mousekeeper, as the PP said.

I am so excited - I have been debating over which longhouse to request and it has been making me nuts - well, I finally convinced DH that we should try concierge at the Poly - so that settles the longhouse issue. This is our first concierge stay. We are not telling the kids - they will be so stunned.

Should I make any specific room requests - we would like a 3rd floor - but anything other than that??

Second floor rooms in the Hawaii bldg do not have a balcony...if that is important to you

Could somebody tell me what floor the lounge is on in the Poly. We are so excited as this is not only our first Poly trip(well since I was a kid) but also our first CL

The main part is on the second and then there is a loft overlooking with seating/a bathroom/some tables on the third.

Hi Everyone!

First, I just want to say how much I :lovestruc this thread! I'm on information overload right now.

My DF and I are staying at the Poly in Oct for our Honeymoon! We booked our reservations online, and it's just about paid off!

We haven't made any room requests and I'm wondering if we should take our chances and hope for some pixie dust, or if we should go ahead and make our requests now. We've booked a GV room, and there a couple longhouses we really don't want to stay at. Right now our top choice is the Tokelau, 3rd floor.

I think I had a question in there some where...I guess should we take our chances and hope for some pixie dust, or go ahead and make our requests now? And since we made our reservations online, how do we make our requests?

(Is it Oct yet??) :upsidedow

Aloha!

we will be leaving tomorrow!
Anyone interested I have a case of dr pepper and a case and a half of propel waters! If you are coming in the next couple days let me know if you would like it. I can leave it at bellman. I am In club level so let me know where you are staying so I all know where to leave it!

Since you have an idea of where you want to be, I would make the request. You need to call disney to do it, and have your confirmation number when you call. It is possible that they could find you just with your name and phone number, but the confirmation number makes it easier.

I see you are from PA. Are you flying from Philly? We live about 10 minutes from the Walt Whitman Bridge..We are taking the auto train.

No - Pittsburgh - and we are driving. We have friends from Franklinville - is that near you? We used to spend vacations in Sea Isle City and Stone Harbor.

I know what you mean. This will also be our first time staying at Club Level. Please check out this thread:
Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)
You will gain so much knowledge just by reading thru it.
Also, please be sure to contact: Polynesian.Itinerary.Planning@disneyworld.com
Let them know you're coming - and they will be able to do so much for you! Just before I decided to upgrade to Concierge, I had been trying to make a dinner reservation for O'Hana's for months without success. The very first time I spoke to the Itinerary Planner, she was able to get me the reservation at exactly the date & time I had been trying for. She is also making arrangements for a birthday cake and other surprizes for our grandson. I can't say enough how great they have been to us - and we haven't even been there yet!
Good luck!
Gretcen
