Thinking about you... Any news???

Kathy

Nope. I've gotten one good night of sleep in the last week or so.

DH took Friday off from work because his boss was coming back in from a week of traveling in Texas and we are avoiding anyone that might have piggie flu. He might be taking Monday off as well if a woman at work who has been gone for a week's long vacation in Mexico comes into work on Monday....they might make her wait until Tuesday to come back in.

"Piggy flu" :lmao: -- I am so calling it that from now on!

That stuff is scary! I hope that both John's boss and the woman come back germ-free -- we don't need to have it spread around any more!

Goodness! Yes, it can't hurt to be extra careful now that you're about to deliver.

A week in Mexico, huh? She's not the sharpest crayon in the box, is she?!

So I’m bored at home waiting for Baby Girl to arrive. I can’t really walk too far without pain and I can’t really stand for long periods of time. I’m at my laptop way too much…..I’ve started to run out of things to read on the internet. I’ve needed something mindless to do while I wait…..so for the last 3 days I have been making a spreadsheet of a fake WDW trip. I had started with a fake Disneyland trip but I lacked enough good resources to actually put together a plan.

Here’s my plan for a trip that we are not taking….maybe a few years from now we will go another big WDW vacation but this was just for fun and to give me something to do.

10 days/9 nights staying in a studio at either SSR or OKW.

Day 1: Arrival Day & Relaxing at the Resort
Breakfast: at the airport
Lunch: Resort Food Court
Dinner: Wolfgang Puck Express OR EOS OR the Resort Food Court OR the Resort’s sit down restaurant which would be either Olivia’s or the Turf Club

Day 2: Typhoon Lagoon & Visiting the Boardwalk area in the evening
B: Resort Food Court
L: Leaning Palms
D: Beaches & Cream (Back-up—Boardwalk To Go)

Day 3: Magic Kingdom
B: in Room
L: Pecos Bill’s
D: Cosmic Ray’s

Day 4: Animal Kingdom
B: in Room
L: Pizzafari OR Flame Tree BBQ
D: Wolfgang Puck Express

Day 3 and Day 4 can be switched depending on what is better for touring plans.

Day 5: Downtown Disney and Resort time
B: ?
L: Earl of Sandwich
D: ‘Ohana’s (Back-up Capt. Cook’s)

Day 2 and Day 5 can be switched depending on weather.

Day 6: Epcot
B: in Room
L: Yorkshire County Fish Shop OR Electric Umbrella
D: QS and/or snack around World Showcase

Day 7: Animal Kingdom (morning) and DHS (late afternoon/evening)
B: in Room
L: Restarantasaurus
D: Sunset Market area

Day 6 and Day 7 can be switched depending on what is better for touring plans.

Day 8: Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach
B: Wolfgang Puck Express (Marketplace side)
L: Leaning Palms OR Lottawatta Lodge
D: 1900 Park Fare (Back-ups—GF Café or the Food Court at GF OR the QS at the Contemporary)

Day 9: Magic Kingdom
B: in Room
L: CHH OR Casey’s Corner
D: Pecos Bill’s OR The Plaza Restaurant

Day 10: Departure Day
B: Resort Food Court
L: at the Airport
D: Take-out from local restaurant at home.

looks pretty nice for a fake trip....like all the back up dining plans and switching days....for ease of touring or weather....you are good!

Want to work on my real trip next year Nov? :rolleyes1

Can't wait to hear the baby NEWS!!!!

Scrappie

Trip Planning as Therapy... it's always worked for me!!

Mmmm. Ten days.... Nice! :thumbsup2 I vote for OKW!

Just remember, there's never been a pregnancy yet that went on forever!

Is this the DIS equivalent of nesting, Heidi??? :rotfl:

I like the way it looks -- how old do you want the Princess to be when you take her for the first time?

so where's the BBB??? That is what will get me if i ever have a little girl!:rotfl:

Sure I'll help with your Nov trip.....is that 2009 or 2010?

I like to go for 10 days because our travel days don't count because we have to fly so early in the morning because of DH's air-sickness. And because there is always time to schedule non-park days which I think is important.

Is this the DIS equivalent of nesting, Heidi??? :rotfl:

DIS nesting......:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

I'm thinking between 2 years old and her 3rd birthday....want to get in at least one trip while she is still free!

so where's the BBB??? That is what will get me if i ever have a little girl!:rotfl:

No BBB. I can't see spending that kind of money for something that I can do in the room for a fraction of the cost.

Yes! And don't forget the Princess breakfast!

I think that's something we'd save until she was older since I'm not a huge fan of Disney breakfast buffets. I am looking forward to doing autographs with the kids when they ready.

Hang in there Heidi! I sooooooooooo remember the end of pregnancy. (All 3 were very large babies so by the end I was absolutely miserable.) Here's hoping you get to meet your little girl soon!

Love the imaginary vacation plans. I do that often with non-disney trips. In my mind I'm always planning a cross-country train excursion.

Don't count out the BBB quite yet. I always thought it was a bit crazy to pay for that, but caved for my nieces. It was the cheapest package but it was their favorite activity all week. They loved being pampered and fussed over. Then again they act like princesses with or without the BBB. :rotfl:
