9/12 great article ! Who am I to say no to going to WDW?

Yay for Splash Mountain and Magic Carpets!!!!!!!!:goodvibes I wonder if they still have the soaking factor dialed up like last year!!:confused3

Yay for Magic Carpets. I have never been but it's on my list for this trip since I enjoyed Dumbo so very much!

The Magic Carpets! Sis always has to steer and she tries to make it so we get spit on by the camel EVERY TIME!

As long as ponchos are involved, Splash is awesome!!! :thumbsup2

Kathy

In the summer I can do no ponchos... I did freeze one Dec on that though... there was no line and just my father and law and I rode... I do love it though!

Love Splash Mountain it is one of my all time favorites, too.

It remains number one for me...

Yay for Splash Mountain and Magic Carpets!!!!!!!!:goodvibes I wonder if they still have the soaking factor dialed up like last year!!:confused3

Remember... I wouldn't know:confused3

Yay for Magic Carpets. I have never been but it's on my list for this trip since I enjoyed Dumbo so very much!

Hope you enjoy!

We love these! Usually no wait and so fun to move up/down!

They have changed so much!

I am a bit worried they will think Luke should sit in back with them... luckily we might divide up with the grandparents...

The Magic Carpets! Sis always has to steer and she tries to make it so we get spit on by the camel EVERY TIME!

My girls try to get us wet...

Watch out for those camels -- they spit! :lmao: Which might be a welcome thing in the middle of June!

Any water wetness is welcome!

Today we are looking forward to ....

Character Connection! We have had lots of fun seeing Mickey and Friends there , especially last year.

This is one of my favorite pics too from Character Connection:

So tonight I was running errands and picked up a few trip items:

Click Sharpies for Autograph books (clearance at Michael's)
Disney scrapbook goodies (clearance at Michael's)
Ribbon to mark our strollers

We were supposed to be at Hannah's first softball game-- but it was rained out, but we are having a cookout/Derby Party with friends tomorrow night, so I got a jump start on groceries and stuff tonight.

Next post: DHS

I remember that pic from last year. Such a great one!!

I have to get to Michaels! Good stuff!

Sunday, June 21st
Hollywood Studios:

This will be the last park we hit, and our fourth day of touring. We do not have any ADRs this day, so we can really see how we are doing and go with the flow.... as much as I can stand it. This is also Father's Day, and probably my dad's favorite park! For Hannah though she could skip it, so I hope to change her feelings about it by the end. She did not ride any ride last time we visited, so she is somewhat disappointed. We will not be seeing Fantasmic this night (not showing), and the park is only open until 8.

Here is what I would like to accomplish:

Toy Story Midway Mania- I have heard so many great things. I hope we can ride it a few times this trip. Any suggestions about a baby riding this?

Voyage of the Little Mermaid- Ariel and Air conditioning- always great!

Rock'n Roller Coaster- My dad rode this last trip, but I have a feeling it will be DH and I, which will be fun since we rarely get to ride big rides together!

Tower of Terror- I sure hope Hannah rides this with me, I think she would like it, especially since she is not scared of the Haunted Mansion.

Fantasmic- we have the dinner package for a day later this trip. I want to see it, and think the kids, sans Luke would enjoy.

Beauty and The Beast- my girls would like it, Hannah enjoyed it last trip.

Playhouse Disney- Hannah is a bit big, but Emily will love it!

Muppet Vision 3-D- we would like to try!

The Great Movie Ride- my dad loves this. Not sure if the girls will be game, but some of us will have to do it.

I think we will eat lunch at The Backlot Express- we had a great experience there last trip!

I would love to see Socerer Mickey and other characters too. We also will probably search for Daisy again, seemingly she is out at HS, and rarely anywhere else!

Here are some pictures from previous visits:

The above picture of Em just looks so much like Luke

My touring thoughts for this day are that we will probably stay a tad later, and not return to a park that evening. Perhaps DTD or just relax at the hotel. We will for sure be back for Fantasmic later in the trip, and might have a second morning if we chose....

Oh my gosh, that picture of Em does look just like Luke!
Your DHS day looks fun filled. I hope you get to do it all!:goodvibes

Just popping on to say "hi!" Trying to catch up, but I am so behind on everyone's threads!!! Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks for the Hollywood Studios pictures and thoughts this morning.
I'm Dising as it is storming, so I'm feeling very Tower of Terrorish right now anyway!

Sounds like a great day! I can smell the turkey legs now! :goodvibes

We love it when we are able to add a little Disney shopping into our errands. It makes the trip feel closer, closer, closer!

I just love last year's picture with all of the characters.

Your plans for DHS look great -- I think you will find that Luke can just sit in someone's lap during the ride.

Have fun at your Derby party today -- that sounds like fun!

If your kiddos like The Incredibles or Toy Story, DHS has some cool Meet n Greets for those characters. I bet Up crew will be in the Animation building this year too!

Muppets 3D has always been a favorite of mine, so we've taken the kids to see it. They've really enjoyed it! They also really liked Toy Story Mania!

Love the Character Spot, GREAT picture! As for DHS, that is the day we will be there together!:thumbsup2 I sure hope we run into one another!:goodvibes As for TSM, I though I read somewhere that you couldn't bring a lap sitting child on the ride because of the way the safety bar rests? I am not 100%on this though. I think I read it on a TGM forum!! Your DHS plans look very similar to ours!:goodvibes

That is the best picture from Character Connection! :thumbsup2

I think your plans for DHS are really good, I bet Hannah will like DHS a little bit better too. :thumbsup2

What cute pics. Your trip will be coming around the corner before you know it:cool1:. We are going up today for the FLOWER AND GARDEN FESTIVAL:flower3: It's just a quick trip we will be back on Monday. It's one of our quick fixes:rotfl2:. Even though we just had one for the day during spring break. Thank God it's Almost Summer:banana::goodvibes
