Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

LL! I think I had told you a while back that I heard there was going to be a topiary scavenger hunt at Epcot. Well here are some more details:

It starts behind Spaceship Earth at the Festival Information booth there and runs from 10am to 5pm daily.
Still a little vague, but I think it sounds like fun!
Very, very interesting. I wonder what that is all about. :confused3

I'm so very sad that the special polka dotty bag doesn't work, but I love the new choice. How creative of you to switch out the strap for a scarf. The pink with black and white looks very cosmopolitan to me.:thumbsup2

Your series of pictures with Mary Poppins really tell a neat story, not at all stalkerish.;)
It's a very pretty bag though, I do really like the pattern.

I'm glad you don't think I am stalkerish. :lmao:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new bag! I will not dare to tell my Marc that you found it at WalMart, he will want me to return all of my various Veras........
I can't wait to see you modeling!

Thanks for posting the Mary pictures, reminded me that I need to find the perfect T to make that one. Do you mind if I choose pink?

Do you think that maybe you could wear that pink shirt when I'm searching for you at MK on the 29th?:rotfl:
Marc is taking a nap to get ready for his work shift tonight, once he gets up I will have him take a picture. :thumbsup2

Don't show your Marc, I told my Marc that he can't expect me to get all of my park bags at Walmart. :lmao:

I might be able to arrange wearing my Mary Poppins shirt on the 29th for you! I have no problem with you choosing pink!

If you decided to ebay that hipster let me know...... I think it's very cute!:goodvibes
:lmao: I will.

I am in full panic mode this afternoon. :scared1:

I dug out my suitcases and sat down in the middle of my living room to organize and clean out what I wouldn't bring. Well, things that I thought were in my suitcases are not and I am missing quite a few things and I am starting to FREAK out.

*I can't find my cute Mickey earrings that I bought from Kohl's
*I am missing rechargeable batteries for the camera. I have 8 batteries total, my camera takes 4 at a time. I know I had at least one more set. I can't find them anymore.
*I can't find the bag of pin backs for my trading pins. I know I put them aside somewhere once we moved and unpacked. They are missing.
*Small camera pack. I think there might be more batteries in there and I can't find it. I know I saw it somewhere and now I am clueless.

Okay, I know there were more things I was missing. Now I just look and sound like I am panicking for nothing. I guess the moral of this story is don't move before you go to Disney.

I also realized I need a few things.

*More hair elastics
*Bobby pins
*A wall charger for my cell phone. I only have a car charger.
*Batteries?

I also have a little treat for all you. I recently joined Twitter. Well you can Twitter from your cell phone...which means I will be doing live Twitter updates from Disney World, nothing too in depth just little Disney tidbits. I have hooked up my Twitter so that when I update, it automatically updates my Facebook page. So if you any of you want to follow me on Twitter, here is the link. If any of you want to follow me on Facebook, PM me and we can friend each other. :thumbsup2

I am pretty excited about being able to Twitter while in Disney. I think it will be fun. :goodvibes

I have a purchased a plethora of bags in the last year with Disney in mind. It's been a never ending quest for the perfect park bag.

Let's take a walk down Bag Lane, shall we?

The very first bag I purchased with Disney in mind was this beauty (Mine is all Pink & Silver, no camo). $12.96 from Walmart. I had a bag almost exactly like this on my trip in 2005 and it worked awesome. I love it, such a comfy strap and easy to carry.

I think this is my favorite! But, keep in mind that you are talking to someone who wore fanny packs for years and now uses whatever drawstring backpack the kids are not using! Perhaps I don't have the best taste in bags! :rolleyes1

I do think the last one is pretty cute! In fact, I was thinking of you yesterday when I was looking at the different backpacks and bags in the Vanity Fare Outlet.

I am in full panic mode this afternoon. :scared1:

Don't panic. You will eventually find everything. What you can't find, you replace. You still have 26 more days. That's about when I start packing.

So much to comment on, I have not ate at LC yet but am planning on getting the soup-paying oop for the salad, filet and am very excited about the potatoes instead of the risotto-not a big fan and the cute moose desert.
The trip down bag lane was very fun. I am glad you found one that you like.
I hope that you find your missing items. I will send you a pm about fb.

I plan on getting at Le Cellier the Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce- and the ched soup and pretzel bread too!! YUM

I love the hipsters from Vera Bradley- the bag I got was from Childrens Place- $10.00 its so cool! Its a backpack and is for a pool/camp kid- but I think its going to work great for Disney. It has a zip lock pocket to keep things dry- very light and water proof and padding for the shoulders!

WOW, I missed a lot in one beautiful MA day!! Love the bag update....too funny, and here I thought (and so did DH!) that I was the only one with bag issues...glad to know I'm not alone!! Love the new Walmart (wow!!) bag, very cute and very creative of you to think of using a scarf as a sling! I'm impressed, but do need to see pics, when you have the time, it sounds adorable!! You may be onto something.....creating Disney travel bags!!;) I'd buy......

Great MP pics, and your meet up in MK doesn't sound stalkerish at all....heehee!! ;)

PM'ing you about FB, would love to follow!!:goodvibes

I haven't read everything, so you may have answered this already, but are you going to check out the Kim Possible missions at Epcot, too? That's getting great reviews from kids and adults alike.

You'll find everything, LL; it's just a matter of time.
I can't imagine moving before a Disney trip, so for you to have even almost everything in place at this point is amazing.

Gosh, I hope you find your stuff. Do you still have some boxes to unpack?
I went to twitter and found out that someone has already taken my username! and they have been suspended due to strange activity!:scared1:

Oh my gosh, so much to catch up on! I'm so over this semester :rotfl:

I loved the description of what you did with your new bag. I honestly would never have thought of cutting off the strap and putting a new one on. I think it will look adorable!

I hope you find whatever you misplaced, I have such a bad habit of doing that. I dread the day that I move out because I will misplace everything! I agree with MeMom, though, you having almost everything in place so soon after moving is amazing!

I'm on Twitter as well, so I'm going to start following you -- my username is the same as my Dis name. Let me know if you want to be friends on FB as well and I will PM you my last name. :thumbsup2

Marc had some idea where some of the things could be so I am going to look tomorrow after work. I'm too lazy tonight. :lmao:

The filet is so delicious and so are the potatoes. Yum Yum! PM me about FB. :thumbsup2

I keep going back and forth between the new bag from Walmart and the sling backpack I already have. I don't know. Marc told me tonight that he knows I will come home with anew bag from Disney no matter what I bring. :rotfl2:

I've had a lot on my mind trip wise this weekend. :lmao: I never got around to taking the bag modeling pictures. I'll do that soon!

Sounds like something interesting.

I can't imagine moving before a Disney trip, so for you to have even almost everything in place at this point is amazing.
I haven't decided about the Kim Possible adventure. If I'm feeling it at the time, I might. Have you done that yet?
I am sure everything will turn up, I just gotta go digging around more.

Gosh, I hope you find your stuff. Do you still have some boxes to unpack?
I went to twitter and found out that someone has already taken my username! and they have been suspended due to strange activity!:scared1:
We only have dvds, books and one box of miscellaneous stuff left. I know it's not in the dvd or books boxes, so I just have to look in that one. I'm sure it will turn up. I get panicky too because I haven't made my packing list yet either, that would probably help.

Oh, I hope you find your stuff -- any ideas where you might have stashed it all?

I am so excited about the live updates!!! :goodvibes
I have a couple ideas, I just have to find it. There is so many things we put away and now we can't always remember. :lmao:

I'm excited about the live updates too. I think it will be fun!

I'd love to be your friend on Facebook, PM me and then I can add you! :thumbsup2

I had been looking at the bag for awhile at Walmart but knew the strap wouldn't work but then they had the scarfs next to them and it just clicked!

The new bag is adorable. The pink scarf really makes the whole thing pop. Very cute.

Hope you find the things your missing. Last year I bought a gorilla pod right before I went to to Disney and then realized when I got down there that I forgot it. I still haven't found it. I'm guessing at this point that I threw it out or something, but it drives me nuts.

Sorry you are missing some items. But on the bright side you are getting organized a few weeks ahead of time rather than the night before like some of us do.

I'm sure you'll find what you need! :thumbsup2

Really excited about live updates. I have to see if my work computer will let me get to the twitter site.

I'm excited about the live updates too. I think it will be fun!

We haven't done the Kim Possible missions, but there were a bunch of people lined up to do it when we were there in March. There's a thread on one of the boards that talks about how much fun it was for kids, but there were also a lot of grown-ups who said they did it without kids and it was a blast! We're going to try to do at least one this summer and see what it's all about.

Live updates keep us going. We're looking very forward to them!

I loved all of the bag pictures. :rotfl:

About Le Cellier - we ate there for the first time on this last trip. I LOVED the soup! :thumbsup2 I also had the mushroom filet and it was very good. But, if I'd already had that, I think I'd try something else that I'd heard was excellent. I haven't tried the potatoes as I just got the risotto (which I loved).

I was thinking of you yesterday wondering how you can do it all in one night. I think I'd freak out.
Twitter is allowed at my work....for now. :rotfl2:

I have been wondering if I should try something different. I think it's going to be one of those last minute decisions once I get to Le Cellier. :thumbsup2

We have come to the second Living with the Land Picture.

I think the hydroponic lettuce is so pretty! That is what it is called, right? Hydroponic Lettuce?

I just love Living with the Land. I have vivid memories of riding this on the trip with my parents when I was 13. I know we ate in The Land pavillion too.

I hope that I can take the Behind the Seeds Tour someday too. :thumbsup2

You never found that? I remember you talking about that!

Nope, it's one of those great unexplained things, like when one sock goes missing. I actually had been missing my tank top for a few weeks. Couldn't find it anywhere no matter how much I searched for it. Last night it finally turned up when I went to change my sheets to a set I haven't used in ages. They were stuck in the middle of the fitted sheet. :rotfl: Who knows maybe the gorilla pod will turn up one of these days.

Just signing on, I read up until it turned into a solo trip and now have to get to work lol! We miss you by a week! :(
