OMG OMG OMG

NOW I am excited.

Just arrived back home today to find my Cruise Travel Kit in the mail. :cool1:

That means all these months of waiting are nearly over! This makes it almost real now.:banana::banana:

-Kay

I got mine yesterday too!!!! (or should I say....NAN - I got ours yesterday!):goodvibes

We got ours over the weekend. I suppose I need to think about making final payment after we get back from our upcoming WDW trip.

Oh, I want mine!!!

I did receive my pkg for my May wdw trip yesterday, but that's just not quite the same

I guess it's time to start watching the mailbox.

I plan on doing final payment the first week of June. Want to be sure everything is processed by the 90 day mark. I still need to transfer my reservation to Peg's TA to get their on board credit. Guess I'll take care of that this week.

Things to be done by 6/14

Transfer reservation to TA
Pay for cruise
Buy trip insurance
Decide on excursions

And the week PRIOR to that...decide on WDW ADRs

.

Your list looks very similar to mine ;)
I've been trying to decide whether I should transfer my ressie or not. Since I have the following week booked too, and since my daughter is flying down to join me for the 2nd cruise, I'm a little worried about her having problems if there's bad weather. We booked our airfare ourselves. Does anyone think it would be easier for her to deal with DCL directly if there were problems because of weather? I know they won't hold the ship if she's late in any case, I'm just trying to decide if there is any reason we would be better off sticking with the DCL ressie:confused: She is arriving the night before.

Kathe

Until when will you be here??

I'm around starting on the 12th (really midnight the 10th-11th but will be worth nothing on the 11th) if you want to do a mini-meet :goodvibes

Monica, can you stand the excitement :cool1: What is the date you are leaving? I bet you will have such a wonderful cruise, you have been looking forward to this itinerary for so long!

I'll see you on the 16th right? If you want to meet up one evening let me know. I'll be staying at CSR.

You also forgot to add,

Tell Ian and Sukie what excursions activities they're doing/

Hi!!!

Congrats Peg :thumbsup2 Sounds like you did a wonderful job. It's so nice that you were recognized for all of your hard work. I'm glad you can relax now and do some fun planning for yourself :cool1:

Kathe

Thanks so much! I have been having some fun the last few days figuring out which car to rent, what days we'll be doing what and I just found out my friend Kitty (is joining us for the Holy Land Experience) while we are there in Orland. She lives about 1 hour south... we graduated together and it was good to see her last Sunday!

Well, if I use that list,
FINISHED:
Paid for Insurance
Paid for Cruise
Booked car
Booked hotels
Planned excursion with Brother for Tortola (not yet booked) but decided! (Catamaran snorkel trip) not sure I spelled that correctly.

What exactly is this "travel kit?" I already got the book with all the little stickers in it and the CD - is this something new?

:surfweb:

Kaz, just read your A-Z quick trip report. Very fun!

Are you going to be at WDW pre or post cruise?

Hi SISTER!

HI SISTER!!!! OH that reminds me, I was going to read that... was late so I have to work a bit late tonight! Going to Desert Botanical Gardens tomorrow to see the Chihuly Exibit!

The Travel Kit is a brown folder with a booklet made out of quality cardstock showing gifts, trip insurance, formal wear hire, talking about making reservations and what to bring etc.

Oh and its also a reminder to pay the bill!

Got our travel kit this week. Oldest ds brought in the mail and asked why DCL was sending us such a big letter if we were going on Carnival.:confused3 So I think maybe the big kids are getting wise...

Dh is back to his civilian job and all of the people he supervised (who were a great team), were transferred to other supervisors who won't give them up, so he has all new people who don't have such good on the job reputations. He's happy about it though, because he says he'll have to do lots of overtime so he can drink more on the cruise and maybe have an extra massage. Yeah, like that will happen after leaving me home with 4 home schooled kids for 12 months. I'm locking him in the cat 11 with all four of them and hitting the spa and the bar for a day or two.

If anyone going to Disney before the trip happens to stay at AKL- if you see the new villas I'd love to hear about them. We're staying there Wed-Thurs before the cruise.

I received mine when I got home - but I already paid the bill! This is my first one, because the other times we cruised - Jackie was the "main room" person... now I have my own! I love the gift section, also great tips!

Guess I'd better check the mail on the way out today. I wonder if the gift section has the new stuff :confused3

Get my hair cut tonight so I guess I'll break down and color it too. All the grey that is showing right now is pretty scary! :scared1:

I'd also like to say: TWO WEEKS TILL MY VACATION in the Windy City!

.

We haven't go our kit yet. I remember we over here received our PC ones before you all over there.

I'd also like to say: 1 WEEK TILL MY VACATION in sunny Florida!!

I just replyed to a PM from you.

Time to hit the shower and go to work.

Tonight is hair cut and color....I should look a bit better by tomorrow...once this grey is covered! :lmao:

Yeah, just keep ignoring my PMS:headache:

Erm, do you mean PM's? I did reply to you.

Edit here. I remember exactly what I wrote in the PM, and I answered as soon as I saw it, but it does appear not to be in my Sent box. I wonder if I actually pressed Send? Sorry. :hug:Anyway now you know the reply.

Well, picked up my packet from the mail box this morning....I see some presents I'd like to have! ::yes:: Anyone notice #16 comes in a LIME GREEN canvas tote with the DCL logo....a DISers dream.

Yeah... like we're NO influence at all!!!

By the looks of it baby-kins, you might be having some swell Chi-Town weather

http://www.accuweather.com/us/il/ch...tner=accuweather&traveler=0&zipchg=1&metric=0

Yeah! ...though remember...I'm a week 'behind' Cheri.

I was looking at insuremytrip dot com for insurance for this trip. Looks like I found one I like for about $102 ($2000 per person coverage). It's TruTravel, which is Nationwide Insurance and is rated A+. I'll review it with Dinne when I'm there and probably book it then.

We closed early today...BUT...I have a hair cut appointment close by, so I'll be handing out here for another TWO hours. :rolleyes1
