Well imagine my surprise!June 2009 PTRw/pics 7/7 pg. 76 NEW TR started link on pg. 76

Great mini TR Diane ! It looks like you had a great trip. I can't believe how much you did in two days. Ground zero is a very emotional place. I did a girls bus trip last year and got pretty emotional myself when we visited. I also spent a small fortune in the M&M store. Guess we are suckers.

All the pics of the trip were great. I loved the ones of Central Park and the Statue of Liberty. The one of the boys holding their noses by the foot is too cute. The Disney store looked huge ... reminded me of the Disney store in DTD. You have definitely inspired me to take my boys on a trip to NYC soon.

:rotfl:about being suckers at the M&M store!! Isn't amazing how when you think of 9/11 and then actually see it and try to put yourself there how overwhelming it is! Thanks for all of your sweet comments about the pictures! The Disney Store is huge but the one in Orlando is bigger! I hope you get to take your NYC trip soon!:thumbsup2

There have been some exciting changes going on behind the scenes here at our house!! First change is that we changed our dates for our Food and Wine trip! We were originally going from 11/4-11/8 but now we are going from 10/31-11/5! The town we live in is a little kooky when it comes to Halloween. We host a HUGE Halloween parade every year so all the kids actually trick or treat on 10/30 instead of 10/31...this way everyone can go to the parade (which they do). So the entire trip is a surprise to the boys....BUT the best part is now we can go to MNSSHP on 11/1 HOPEFULLY! I have no idea when tickets go on sale though:confused3 Also, we will be there on Eric's actual birthday, which is something he has been begging us to do for well over a year!! (I am sure Matthew will say "That's not fair!":rotfl: AND because we knocked off 1 weekend night it is costing us the same amount of points to stay an extra night!!!:thumbsup2 How is that for some good math!:goodvibes

I was also able to book the boys into the Sandcastle Kids Club @ the Beach Club so Bryan and I can have dinner alone on our ACTUAL anniversary at the Yachtsman Steakhouse! Does it get any better?:goodvibes

That is so exciting!!!

That is great boys will not miss out on trick or treating at home:goodvibes

I had no idea the boys were going on the F&W Trip. I think I confused you with Tim and Lesley, as they are going without the kids right for F&W? :rotfl:

How are you surprising them?

Awesome changes! FYI, I think the MNSSHP tickets typically go on sale May 1st. :thumbsup2

Thanks Jackie, and thanks for the selling date!:thumbsup2

Too funny, yes I think it is Tim and lesley that aren't bringing the kids! I am not sure about how to surprise them..Bryan and I have thought of a few ideas, but nothing concrete yet!:thumbsup2

Very cool about the change of plans and being able to attend MNSSHP!! :cool1:

And how wonderful that you'll be able to go out to dinner on your anniversary.

What an awesome surprise for the boys! You are going to love MNSSHP. It is so fun to see MK all decorated for Halloween and to see the characters dressed up in Halloween costumes. And Eric celebrating his b-day in Disney ... so exciting.

Anniversary dinner sounds very romantic.:lovestruc

Very cool! So for his b-day will you get the FP's for your family or the gift card for him? What number did you call for the kids club? I need to call for our trip for our Narcosse's date night. Which one is the Sandcastle Kids Club?? Where are you staying in October. MNSSHP tickets go on sale May 1st, I'll be calling bright and early ;)

Thanks so much! We always seem to be at WDW in the spring or summer so going in the fall will be AWESOME! I am happy for Eric but I hope Matthew doesn't get too upset:confused3 Looking forward to our anniversary dinner:goodvibes

OK, answering your questions... I am not sure about the fastpasses or the gift card, I heard the fastpasses are not that great:confused3 I called the dining line 407-wdw-dine to make the kids reservation. The Sandcastle club is at the Beach Club...the boys wanted Simba's because they stayed there last year and LOVED it but this was just more convenient! Did you know DVC members get a discount at the kids club...it's 15% In October we are staying at Jambo in a studio standard view...we will do Kidani next summer! What line do you call for MNSSHP party? HA! You need to come out with an update girl and tell us about your change in plans for YOUR trip!;) Did you get my PM about the shirt?:goodvibes

Wow, those are some awesome changes! I can't wait to hear how you are going to surprise them!

Thanks so much! I will definitely post the plan when it is finalized!:thumbsup2

Yay for these changes! :yay: Huge Score! :yay: They are great! Getting a chance to see MNSSHP is perfect! DATE night, totally cool -- we are doing that for DH's B-Day @ our trip. I made a reservation for the Neverland Club when I did my dining. The 15% off for DVC owners is a huge perk! We are "surprising our boys for our trip, too, this June, so I have to come up with something as well.. I saw on another thread that there was/is a thread about "surprise" trips, and maybe there would be some good ideas there... I have not read it yet. I'll look for it, if you are interested!

Great Math! extra day same cost, can't go wrong there! :thumbsup2

Thanks! Bryan and I are so excited about MNSSHP and surprising the boys!:thumbsup2 LOving the 15% off! Thanks for the info about the "surprise link" I just found out that Bryan took that whole week off from work so now I am wanting to add some more days:rolleyes1

WOW! Looks so cool! Probably wont be open for our trip, but we go in Dec, so this would be a perfect "fun" event to add... Can't wait to see/hear more... I know my boys would love it. I do wonder the $ though... Sounds neat.:thumbsup2

Thanks for sharing that Diane

It is about time Disney catered something to the boys
