It's crazy to me how long they've made you wait.
You've gotta be dying to know.

You're going shopping with your mom that day, right?? That'll be sooo much fun!!

It's Classic Pooh either way, though?

I AM dying to know. I just can't wait for Tuesday to get here! I have a friend from work who didn't find out until she was 7 1/2 months :eek:She said her daughter kept her legs crossed and they couldn't tell what she was so she finally went and got a 4D U/S done to tell them the sex. I definitely can't imagine having to wait any longer than this! I've already said that I am NOT leaving that doctor's office until I know whether it's a boy or girl :rotfl:

Yes, going shopping with my mom that day. I wanted to wait to register until I knew what the sex is. I am looking forward to it!

Yup, Classic Pooh is the theme regardless. In fact, I just got my Classic Pooh wall stickers in the mail today that I ordered from Target. Once I get the room more situated and decide where everything's going to go then I will put them up. It's all becoming more real and it's so exciting :goodvibes

Are they like the ones I've got?
Bro is a Target freak, so I figure that might be where they originated...

Post pictures when you start! It gets so much more real when you start with the stuff like this... and I'd love to see!!

After my shower Saturday, I'll have all the handprint boards done and can hang them and then I'll be almost done with my nursery... just missing those boards, crown molding, 1 piece of furniture.. and of course, HIM!
(oh.. and a door. :headache:)

We aren't really telling anyone yet, but I'm pregnant!!! I have quite a history of miscarriage and this was a BIG surprise! My ob/gyn finally sent me to a specialist today and I have hope this time! He prescribed me a blood thinner that I have to give myself twice a day (shots). Anyway, it's been a long time since I've been pg and I totally feel like throwing up right now! Good sign!:thumbsup2 I'm only 5 weeks and my due date is Dec. 8th.

Congrats and Welcome!!! This is a great place to share before you can tell everyone else.

Sarah.... :rotfl::rotfl:

I JUST noticed that you put you and your girl in PURPLE! :goodvibes

Nice catch!!! I wondered if anyone would notice...I really am serious about the purple vs pink thing. :teeth:
Here's a workaround:
  1. Open your image as a pdf (at 100% magnification, if that's a choice)
  2. Take a 'printscreen' (alt-PrntScrn)
  3. Paste this image into your favorite imaging editing software. (I like Microsoft Photo Editor for this. It probably lives in a folder called Microsoft Office Tools)
  4. Crop the image to your liking
  5. Save it as a jpg
  6. Upload it like you are used to doing.

Thanks! I'll give that a try. My DH is a computer nerd, so i may just let him handle it. We got a 3d image that came out awesome and I want to share!

I'm so excited for you! More than I was for myself! lol I never really got excited about it, but I am really happy to know.

So today I felt Lily actually moving around. Before now I just felts kicks, but the movement feels so cool...it tickles a little. hopefully DH will be able to feel her better soon--she always stops kicking as soon as either of us put our hands on the belly. So DH has only felt her kick twice.

...I don't even remember why I was looking at the list but I thought my eyes were going crazy or something. Cracked me up. :rotfl:

Have you SEEN your tummy move yet? Thats the creepiest thing in the world.

I have Ellas room done in Classic Pooh....I love it. I am debating on those Target wall stickers... I bought a wall 'saying' that says "Love is like a butterfly, it pleases where it goes and it goes where it pleases" for one of her walls, and am contemplating putting those stickers around it...

There are so many different Classic Pooh bed sets....which one do you have?

Yes, they are the same ones you have :) When you posted those pictures I had literally just ordered the same set that morning from Target. They're super cute and I can't wait to put them up :thumbsup2 I will definitely post pics as soon as we start decorating.

Aw that's so cool. I have just been excited because I have finally felt the baby kicking. Up until about 2 weeks ago all I felt was a little fluttering but now it's definite kicking. And a lot of it! Some days I feel like this kid is re-enacting Bend It Like Beckham :rotfl:My poor mom wants to feel the baby kick so badly but it's the same problem you're having...everytime she goes to feel my stomach the kicking stops. It's like they have some kind of baby radar! ha ha

That would be a really cute idea! I love the wall stickers, they are completely adorable :goodvibes

This is the bedset I bought:

I bought the 3 piece set that comes with the sheet, comforter, and bumper pad and they happened to have the dust ruffle that day I went so I bought that too. It's a really nice set!

Not yet, she's hanging out so low that I usually feel everything on the underside of my belly that I can't see...maybe Dh could see it first, that would be cool...

Such a sweet innocent set :)
Lemme see if I can find mine to post -

Just popping in to say have a nice weekend. :) DS2 had a great check-up on Wednesday and he was moving around for the heartbeat check. My stomach was moving all over the place! We got his bedding and decided to return it because it wasn't as described. The color was off and the material wasn't very baby friendly. I was bummed. But, I'm sure we'll find something else.

I missed alot! I just spent the last 24 hours in the hospital, and I'm so glad to be home! The baby is fine, though-I'm the one who felt like she was falling apart! Here is a copy of the email I sent to work, with some personal info changed:

Thank you all for the prayers and concerns-I wanted to let everyone know what happened. I just got home from the hospital. I was pretty scared yesterday-I was convinced I was about to have a seizure or stroke. When dd9 was 4 days old, my blood pressure shot up and I had seizures and ended up in ICU for several days-it was life threatening. A friend of mine did the same thing, and ended up having a stroke.

Some of you know I've been really sick this week-vomiting alot. Yesterday morning, I woke up vomiting again, but felt fine when I got to work. I was grading papers while my kids took a test, and I got a really bad headache. That didn't scare me-I was planning to run home 2nd pd and get some meds. Then my vision started blurring-I couldn't read the papers to grade them. Cornelius turned in his test and asked me what was wrong-the kids said I looked really funny. When they started talking, the sound was strange-like I was hearing it through a tunnel, and I couldn't focus on them. I was pretty freaked at this point because that is how I was feeling before my seizures with dd9. I sent Chelsea to the office to see if someone who was there doing the physicals (our student athletes were having physicals done at school) could come and take my blood pressure. Donna (our secretary) came down to check on me, and I ended up calling dh. He took me to see his cousin who is a nurse practitioner in "the next town over from us". On the way, my tongue started tingling and my face and left arm went numb. This is when I started worrying about a stroke, or Bells Palsy.

They were waiting on us at the back door of the clinic when we got there, and took me straight to a room. My blood pressure was a little high, but not high enough to cause my problems. I was diagnosed with a severe kidney infection and was very dehydrated. I was admitted to the hospital and given a drip for fluids, antibiotics, and nausea meds. I was also given another antibiotic by mouth. Apparently alot of the symptoms I've been attributing to the baby were caused by the infection-back ache, pressure, etc. dh's step-sister is a pharmacist at the hospital, and she told me that when she has migraines her mouth and arm go numb, and alot of women have migraines when they are pregnant. They think the dehydration and infection together with the pregnancy just set off all the symptoms.

My labwork was better this morning, and my blood pressure was really low all night, so they let me come home thank goodness! I plan to be at work Monday, and will only work a halfday Tuesday. Luckily, I already had a dr's appt scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. The nurse practitioner was in contact with my OB the whole time, so he knows what happened. Maybe I can last the next 5 weeks now with no more drama!

Whoa, December, that was scary. I hope you are feeling okay now. You take some time for you and get rested!! Im glad you are okay though!

december, I am so sorry you had to go through that! But I am very glad to hear that it all turned out alright  Here's to hoping you have a drama free last month of pregnancy!

Thanks to both of you-I feel ok now, just need a nap. They woke me up every hour all night to check my blood pressure, and I had to get up and weigh at 4am!!!!:scared:

Just subbing to this thread to keep tabs on the new babies being born.

We are adjusting well though Allison spoiled us with sleeping between 6-8.5 hours for a few nights in a row. Now she is back to between 3-4!

It is so hard to believe that she is already 3 weeks old. It really does fly by!

Hope you all are doing well and rest up- these babies really take away your sleep!!!
