ONLY 4 MORE DAYS!!! Sorry just so excited. I need to post 10 more times to hit my 100 goal before I leave. What times do the monrails start running in the morning for Magic Kingdom and Epcot???

 It's coming so soon ! :yay: I'm sure you'll easily get your 10 posts between now and then!:)

Does that mean they have a hook up to get online in the lounge? I understand that I have to pay $9.95 per 24 hour period. Another question, is the $9.95 charge only good for one computer or everyone in the room?

in the lounge, we just used our computers and didn't go online. My son had a game going on his computer and I was editing photos.

in the room, it is not wireless internet, so the $9.95 was just for one computer because we didn't bring a wireless router. (we meant to but forgot!)

Is there any internet access in the lounge?

If you don't want to valet park, but do want someone to help with baggage, what do you do? Is it called bell services? And tipping is how much?
TIA!

We always tell them right away that were going to self park and they say no problem. However since we always stay Club Level and check-in on our floor, we have someone help us with our luggage. As for tipping we usually give between $15.00 - $20.00 based on how much luggage we have with us.

To my fellow Poly DISers going this week: check out on the Theme Park Boards -- there's a thread about how it's so crowded that they had to close the MK today due to capacity!:scared1: Guess I'll be seeing you all around the pool!:)

Carrie772 - As CRResortFan4Life posted, just tell them when they approach your car that you are self-parking, but would like help with your bags. They'll unload your car, and usually they'll allow you to park near the portico while you go in and check if your room is ready, if you like. Or you can just go park while the significant other goes inside.

I tip half at the time they store my bags, half when they deliver to the room. I got kind of tired of giving 2 or 3 people the full tip, now that they take your bags directly to storage. I give about $2/bag total, so $1/bag for each segment. (and always at least $5, if we happen to have less than 5 bags)

It's kind of subjective, though, everyone seems to do it differently, so whatever seems right to you.:)

Yikes! We've gone once during Easter week, and swore that we'd never do that again!:scared1:

johnsonet, that green bag sounds pretty. I haven't seen that one. I have both lime and kelly green bags with a tree in the shape of Mickey's head. I've also seen khaki colored canvas ones. Next trip, I'm going to scout for more.

Sorry but I forgot who asked about Tonga Toast. During our January trip we had it from room service, Kona and CC. I would rank them in that order that trip. But in March (we weren't staying at the Polynesian so no room service that trip) my DH ordered it twice at Kona and it was absolutely perfect both times. It's the same recipe but at CC it usually seems a bit less tender. No strawberry coulis at CC either.

kandkcmh, normally the resort monorail to the MK begins running at 7am. Apparently the Epcot monorail is now starting at 7:30. But with the MK opening at 7am next week if I'm recalling that correctly, I imagine the resort monorail will start running even earlier than normal. The most reliable info next week will be from the CMs on the platform. I would ask them the day before your first am there. Have a wonderful trip.

5 of you are so close. Have fun!:cool1:

Well, looks like we'll be doing morning EMH and nighttime EMH if we want to see anything! Good thing we like to laze around the resort a lot! :) Thanks for the heads up! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know if they'll open Captain Cooks early if the parks are opening early? :surfweb:

Yup! Sounds like we have the same plan -- I just hope some people will be sleeping in!:)

So happy for you

Tess answered you but I wanted to add that I did pick up wireless in the GCH on my phone, in case you're interested.

Was that just this past week? We were there March 21-28, and it was $10 per day - boy, they change things so quickly, don't they?:)

Ha ha. And I was going to say a third amount - $11/day. But last time I did valet parking at WDW was in July

Wow thanks! Really scared :scared1: I wonder how bad it will be for all of us. Since we have never been. Do you think those people will be able to return at night? or at least open it back up to the resort guest? How does that work? Sorry just really concerned. I expected it to be so busy.
