hiya, i will get around to doing our 1st trip report over the nxt few days, but in the mean time we are now looking at booking again for the 2 nd wk in sept, for 3 nights,
a few questions please, is this french school holidays?

also i have got a price of £580 for 3 nights/ 4 days at The Newport Bay for the 5 of us, thats with 40 % off, does this seem like a good price?
this is without the half board/ plus added, then its £780,
i dont want to ruch ahead & book it & then it goes down but it also may go up soon :confused3
thanks in advance.

ha yes you are addicted!

Price sounds good i'm paying £254 for 2 nights at newport in june for me and dd 3 with 40% off (just hotel and tickets - no half board added yet!)

You could book it and add half board later so you are not paying all at once...

Dont think the French are on school holidays in the second week of September.

That price seems okay as September is a nice time to go away too.

thats a good idea about adding the half board after! thanks, so shall i go ahead & book ;) i'm doing it where you ring & pay a 10% deposit,
wonder why the Newport Bay has 40 % off then & the Cheyenne ( where we stayed last week ) doesnt at the moment?

great no school hols! yay! thanks, yes i think sept will be a nice month as the weather still should hopefully be nice & we want to go then for our sons 3 rd birthday!!! to see his hero Mickey again!!!!

It's down to the offer. There isn't all hotels on the 40% off offer on every date.

Yes not all hotels have the 40% off for all dates - I guess the cheaper hotels may sell out first.

I was looking at rebooking cheyenne (I liked it) for June but the dates I wanted didn't have 40% off when i came to book and it was only £38 dearer to go to newport bay. I'll let you know how we like it compared to cheyenne in june!

DH not impressed and says he might have come if he knew we were staying there!

I think you can add HB upto a few days before - mine is getting added next pay day.

thanks, i've booked it :banana::banana: paid the 10 % at the moment, but will pay off in bits!
also was wondering if anyone knew how it works that our son turns 3 when we are out there as we dont pay for him as an inder 3?? they didnt say anything about it when i booked, but i must admit i didnt raise it! will they realise when we are there?

Congrats on booking again so soon!

Sorry don't know the answer with your son. When we went last year DD was 2.5 but is v big (was in 3 to 4 year clothes) and we got asked at the gates each day how old she was!

Can you work it out if they have charged for him in the room or is it still under 7's free in Sept?

there are only a certain amount of rooms with the 40% off & on certain days

we were orginally going to book for the Santa Fe , but all 40% off rooms were full
so sadly we are going to HAVE to stay at Sequoia

ah right, see we are the other end of that, our DS is quite small & never gets asked any where! the only problem with him is his speech is soo fantastic that we would never get away with it! my friend whos been to Disney over & over says its fine that he turns 3 while out there, no i dont think hes gone as an under 7 as now hes 2, also once he reaches 3 they wont let us book 1 room for the 5 of us, if you get what i mean,
off to do some research now about the Newport Bay!!
