My opinion is that I don't like it


Here is what happened at the press preview this weekend.

I like the music more and more. I think the video has just ended at the interesting part where the characters teach dance steps for the audience. I see my family dancing and having a great time. Personally I like it and like it to be different.

i cudnt even watch it all - lost total interest in all the high pitched talking, and has mickey been on the helium?!?!?!? way too high his voice.... that and all the french

i think that, going on my youngest, he wud lose interest quickly, music to start with not catchy enuf, and i just cudnt even get into it - very disappointed - will have to see if its any better in real life......

eeeeemmmm im not keen on it. i think it drags on a bit at the start. why are they so obsessed with getting people to dance. i just hope its not as complicated as the stitch show. i hope its better than it seems now. also why is the stage so huge.

It goes on a bit doesn't it. Not v exciting imo. Also I think the French spoils it I know DLRP is in France but they do have a lot of none French speaking visitors after all and the fact there is no translation isn't great....

It's funny the way the words are nearly all French and then the songs are all v American voices!

I do quite like the Mickey's Magical Party Time song though - it's growing on me. I think we would probably watch this once to say we'd seen it then not bother again on our trip!

OH dear How disappointing! I expected so much more to follow the 15 th/Villians shows. Very irritating dancing. I actually feel sorry for the cast There seems to be an overload of dancers in naff satin costumes and tracksuits (pretending to be cool) and very few characters. Quite an odd mix of characters too I thought Peter Pan and Wendy dont strike me as party animals!

Theres an up side to everything while everyone is in main street refusing to dance the queues for the rides will be shorter

I think this says a lot - I got bored watching the video after less than 2 minutes and turned off.

I really hope it's better in reality - if this is meant to be a replacement for candleabration then it strikes me as an inferior replacement

Gotta say I'm also not in love with it

I couldn't even watch the whole thing through so doubt if I'll make the effort to watch it while I'm there. Not enough of a catchy tune for me I'm afraid. Very disappointed. Everything's becoming a bit too HSM for me lol.

I got so sick of this this weekend....not only was it on in front of the castle but it seemed to be (partly) on at the DLH staircase every hour....at least we saw it happening 4 times or maybe more. At 4 pm it was with characters and other times just the dancers. And I agree, much much too HSM.

I really like HSM, and am a little embarrassed to admit that at 25 i have all 3 on DVD. Therefore it would be expected that i would like this although i admit it did seem to go on a bit. The press launch looked fantastic.

I think they even had fireworks on Friday night aswell when Disney filmed there own press launch.

On Friday night DS said he saw fireworks at about 11, and I think I heard some, but I was already half asleep and I didn't get to the window in time. So I'd thought they were 'testing' on Friday night with just a few. To be honest I had so little sleep on Friday night, what with DS keep getting hit in the face by his sister in her sleep and DH snoring, that there could have been an explosion on Saturday night and I wouldn't have heard it. Must have been pretty late though.
