What is acceptable dress for the shows on port days? On the western, we have 2 days where we could stay in port later (Key West and Cozumel). Would it be acceptable to wear shorts to the shows, then shower and change out before dinner? We have second dining.

The dress code is the same for port day or sea days...doesn't matter....you can absolutely wear shorts to the theatre...heck I've seen kids in pajammas in the theatre. Many people come from the pool or port and go right to the show and then change afterward.

Good to know! That's one plus for late dining! We're early eaters but maybe we can adjust our time clocks to eat later, sleep in later on the cruise! Appreciate a fast response, esp coming from one of the cruise experts! :worship:

You can also get a late afternoon snack before your late dinner.

Yes, many people go casual to the shows and dress afterwards...even on formal night (or is it especially on formal night?....yeah, formal shoes..ouch)

Anothe tip for the theatres....instead of BUYING the snacks from the counter outside the theatre, order room service sandwich or pick up something to eat from upstairs on Deck 9....chicken fingers would probably be the easiest to eat and get a drink from there as well.

I always bring a box of my favorite candy bars onboard with me for my theatre/movie snack.
