Which veranda do you prefer?

We are on next Saturday's St. Croix cruise and have a stateroom question. We have booked a cat 6 veranda, but the stateroom we were assigned has a solid metal wall instead of the plexiglass. We also have a cat 7 navigator veranda, but it is cabin 6134 which is actually an obstructed veranda (used to be a cat 6 until it was reclassified as a cat 7). That one has a plexiglass wall but has a slight obstruction.

We are booked with the wife in one room and me in the other, but we obviously will not be sleeping in that configuration. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which stateroom my wife and I should choose to stay in? We are trying to decide to which stateroom each piece of luggage should be sent. This is our first cruise in which we have booked verandas and are confused as to whether we would prefer the slightly obstructed plexiglass or the unobstructed solid metal.

It is purely personal opinion, but since you're already paying for both of them, I'd go with the plexiglass--the "obstructed view" is really very minimally obstructed. You'll have a better view with the plexiglass.

That is how we were leaning. I looked at photos of the rooms on http://www.disney cruiser.info/obstruct.htm and the obstruction does seem pretty minimal.
