Ok, want your input! We are going on our first Disney Cruise (3 day) and DH and I would LOVE to do both the beer and wine tastings. Looking at past navigators for the 3 day, the beer and wine tastings are on Nassau days and are back to back (beer at 2:15 and wine at 3:00). My question for all of you that have done these..will we be 3 sheets to the wind by the end of the wine tasting? How big are the glasses of beer? I am not sure if that will be too much alcohol in a short period of time.

TIA!!

Dawn

My Dad did the wine tasting when we went and loved it. He plans on doing it again this time around as well.

Did the wine tasting and it was ok. Was signed up for the beer but already had too much that day. The martini tasting was the best. they are either 12 or 15$ I think the beer was 12 and wine was 15. I would suggest finding others that are going on the cruise and each take 2 bottles of wine and do your own wine tasting.

My husband and I loved the wine tasting, we actually found our favorite wine that day, and enjoy it even on land when we can find it. I believe our wine tasting was $12, but maybe it has gone up to $15? I think it was worth the cost, we got a lot out of the experience. But, we have not had much experience with wine before that. Maybe the other poster was more experienced. I personally could not to a wine and beer tasting back to back (the wine almost took me out). You are really the one that would know your own tollerance. I hope this helps!

We did that on the Repo. :) About 12 of us brought wines from their areas. I discovered Banfi Rosa Regale that afternoon. :lovestruc

My DH says the first time he did it it was amazing because you got so much detail, the second time he went he says it was not as good. Says the information was choppy, but the beer was the same. He says he wouls only suggest going to one and it would be based on the drink of choice. Now, he also says (now we have only done 7 day cruises in the past 6 years) but he says the sessions were longer than 45 minutes, so not sure how they have scheduled them that close in time unless you are only to attend one.:confused3

We did the beer and wine on different days..There would be NO Way!! I could ever do them in the same day... I think the ship moves quite enough with out me over indulging in adult beverages...LOL

I think we may enjoy the wine tasting.
Had a giggle at the 'beer' tasting pics. Boddington's and Strogbow aren't beers at all. :)

Goofy Mum - i thought that too!!!
Looking at those pics there is no way on earth i could do both beer and wine tasting on the same day LOL - it does look good though

Boddington's and Strogbow aren't beers at all. :)

Those two were the ones I knew I would be able identify straight away :) Haven't had any cider since I over-indulged as a teenager  but don't mind the odd Boddies or two ;)
