Leaving the Disney-Hater at Home: A Dorky Disboutiquing Diser Sista Trip Report 6/4

I don't think of Jord as a doll. She is a friend! :lovestruc

I went and found the little fireman dude! His name is Bunson Bernie! :rotfl:

bunsonbernie.jpg

Thank you so much for bringing the doll animosity between Teresa and I to the forefront so we can deal with our issues.

 Teresa, I'm really sorry that Samantha has buck teeth. :duck:

1- That is a true sentiment! Jord is a friend.... for sure!!

2- I THOUGHT Bunson Bernie was a cutie.... but he looks A LOT like one of those Small World dudes... and a little evil in those eyes as well! :scared1:

3- I'm always happy to bring family back together... they are forever ya know.... families that is.

4- Now Heather... didn't we talk about this already???

I think Samantha is not cute too. I don't really much care for Megan's AG doll, if you really want to know the truth. I just like making clothes for her, but neither one of us really have much to do with her otherwise.

Cute! Sorry, Karen, I never had those.

Megan's six year molars are coming in and they don't hurt her at all. After the dentist pointed them out to me I asked her if they hurt because her gums were really swollen but she claims she is fine. Why do baby teeth coming in hurt so much but these molars don't hurt at all? Were our babies faking it?

1- I thinkyou and Heather are ganging up on Teresa ....... don't make me come down there and straighten you 2 out now!

2- I didn't think anyone would. NO ONE is older then me around here. I guess I just have to face it- I'm older then dirt. :sad2:

3- maybe they don't hurt as much because the skin back there has toughened up......... or our kids have!

Gosh! I forget most of what I was going to say now! Did you ever get on TSM? We didn't at DHS. I just didn't want to wait and neither did Lin. Dallas didn't have the option. He has been on it at DL.

I wondered why Tessa had on Jesse and Sawyer didn't have his Woody outfit on in the photopass pictures. Now I get it! Poor Sawyer!

I love sci-fi and Dallas loves the movies! I get a burger and chocolate shake too and I am a total water person!

Dallas is pretty tall too but I don't know where he got it from. He measured just over 48" this trip and was given the go ahead for the Rock N Roller Coaster! Us silly parents said sure go measure yourself with a 120 minute wait thinking he wouldn't be tall enough! We ended up talking him out of it. Actually it was quite a bribe because that was all he has talked about forever! I don't even remember what we bribed him with. I am glad though. I think he is a wee bit young and wouldn't hold his head in the center enough. I didn't want it banging.

Glad you got a seat on the bus. Nothing like having to stand at the end of a LONG tiring day!

What is up with the kids in O's. Of course we followed right along too!

Hmm? Guess that was it. The arcade looked like a ton of fun and like they added new stuff. Lin took Dallas down this time so I never got to see it.

I missed some of this all but I wanted to comment on the whole loose tooth thing. Kyle is 6.5 and just has his 1st loose tooth. He is so excited and me well not so much! I figure he would be 18 before he started to loose teethe since he was 14 months before he got his 1st tooth!

Great update!
Gahhh to the cheerleaders all over the place. They should put up warning signs. My co worker was just telling me she used to cheer and go to Disney every year with her group. I tried to hide my laughter. (Laughter at the fact that she was in the huge groups that clog up the parks not that she was a cheerleader I have nothing against them.)

You are right that Gaston was not attractive at all. How awesome that Tessa got to be the princess. I think its neat that they use a fake rose so she can keep it forever. She looks so triumphant outside posing with her rose.

I agree with you on the personal space thing. This also irritates my husband and he will say something.

Regarding teeth, my 9 yo has lost a ton of teeth while my 7 year old has lost maybe 3. By 7 Samantha had lost like ten, poor Rachel is about to pull hers out to get toothfairy money. She is sick of seeing her sister become rich. She had a grand plan to find things that looked like teeth and put them under her pillow. She gave up on that one thankfully.

Okay good. Aisling isn't complaining at all about them but I figured the second I said that, she's start complaining about them. ;) :rotfl:

great update as usual
you are such a good mom letting your kids play at the arcade, shhhh dont let ryan and mia know there is such a thing at disney, too many things to do to let them spend time in the arcade, although in those cold temps i might be tempted too.
as far as toy story mania...i know i am in the minority, but i like buzz lightyear space ranger spin better. ryan and i ran like looneys to get a fp and then met my family on the standby line. our fp was for like 3:00 pm and that was within 10 minutes of opening, and after riding i was like cute but i could skip it. maybe its just me
sawyers little video was so cute
so cool that tessa got the rose. i didnt even know they did that, i had to wait 4 trips to see that show( darn august thunderstorms)
it is really good though

on a side note with all the wiggly tooth discussion. ryan will be 6 in may and the dentist said his top tooth is just a smidge wiggly ...i wanted to cry because it means he will be a big boy.

7. ...I had 2 things on my mind, Paul Newman and a ride home.
I can't be expected to remember things that I said FIVE days ago! Sheesh! Besides, a girl can change her mind. I know because I do, often!

Mmm-hmmmm....you keep telling yourself that! When you smile can you only see your 2 front teeth? If she's not smiling, then why can we see her 2 front teeth?

 Teresa, I'm really sorry that Samantha has buck teeth. :duck:

7.) Good girl!!! I thought about including the whole quote, but didn't just so you could finish it! I love that book/movie!!

Stop picking on Samantha!

I will forgive Heather though, I take full and total blame for her lack of love of the dolls. When she was little David and I wouldn't let her play dolls with us.

I hang my head in the shame of it all. :sad2:

1) We have to see a picture of this doll!

2) I bet Megan is the tallest! She's always the tallest.

I think Samantha is not cute too. I don't really much care for Megan's AG doll, if you really want to know the truth. I just like making clothes for her, but neither one of us really have much to do with her otherwise.
How tall is Megan?

Heather will have to post a BIG warning before she posts pictures of "The Ugliest Doll Known To Man". And, THIS one REALLY is uglly, unlike

SAMANTHA!! :snooty:

1- I thinkyou and Heather are ganging up on Teresa ....... don't make me come down there and straighten you 2 out now!

2- I didn't think anyone would. NO ONE is older then me around here. I guess I just have to face it- I'm older then dirt. :sad2:

THANK YOU Karen!!!

Nope, Brian is older than dirt, he turned 49 today! :scared1:

On the bright side, he'll get discounted coffee at McDonald's next year and qualify for AARP!!!

See teresa???? you jsut proved my point.

I TURNED 49 last summer!!!! I'M HITTIN' THE BIG 50 IN JULY!

OLDER THAN DIRT I AM. :scared1:

HAPPY B-DAY BRIAN!

I started the whole height thing and now after reading all of the comments I am beginning to think Jordan is short and all of your girls are the correct height! Which is really odd since I am 5'7", DH is 5'10" and my Dad is 6'3" though DH's mom and my mom are short enough to be smurfs. :lmao: Now I am going to have to measure her - - she might be 44" but she is definitely nowhere close to 47". She would be thrilled to be taller - that would mean more rides since she is quite the daredevil!

As for loose teeth, she just had her "half birthday" on Tuesday to turn 5 1/2 and has not lost any teeth though her bottom one is wiggly. (And I am not ready for that either!) Her classmates are all over the map - some have lost three or four and others haven't lost any including kids that are nearly a year older. Between loose teeth and knowing that first grade is around the corner, I may need anti-depressants!

OK. . .I am done hijacking this thread. . .back to your regularly scheduled TR! Looking forward to the next update!

Dallas was 6 in December and just got his first loose tooth. It isn't anywhere near falling out yet though. He was excited until it became actually wiggly. I think he worries too much. Don't know where he would get that from! :confused3

4 teeth? Oh I guess I better get ready then huh? Aisling is cutting her molars now. Did you give her Tylenol for pain? We were just at the dentist the day before I went to Florida and I forgot to ask :headache:
She never complained of any pain when her teeth were coming in. I didn't even know they were there until she went to the dentist a few months ago!

1) I bet Megan is the tallest! She's always the tallest.

2) I can't believe I got caught up in the doll discussion and missed your update to the trip report. You told me all about Sawyer puking but not about Tessa getting the rose! How sweet!

3)I think Samantha is not cute too. I don't really much care for Megan's AG doll, if you really want to know the truth. I just like making clothes for her, but neither one of us really have much to do with her otherwise.
1) She may be the tallest, but Tessa already has her 6 year molars!
2) I just assumed you'd be more interested in puke. :confused3
3) Now I'm starting to feel sorry for Megan's poor AG doll. You didn't even refer to her by name. Poor, poor, well-dress, non-loved AG doll. :sad2:

2- I THOUGHT Bunson Bernie was a cutie.... but he looks A LOT like one of those Small World dudes... and a little evil in those eyes as well! :scared1:
I agree that he looks slightly evil. I think he may have been the one to start the fire. :scared1:

Gosh! I forget most of what I was going to say now! Did you ever get on TSM? We didn't at DHS. I just didn't want to wait and neither did Lin. Dallas didn't have the option. He has been on it at DL.

I never considered that teeth might fall out sooner or later depending on when they came in. Tessa got teeth pretty early and lost them pretty early.

Great update!
Gahhh to the cheerleaders all over the place. They should put up warning signs. My co worker was just telling me she used to cheer and go to Disney every year with her group. I would also like to say that I have nothing against cheerleaders! I just don't like big groups of them getting in line in front of me and taking all the fastpasses!

Your Rachel sounds like a funny little girl! I love that she has a grand plan to fool the tooth fairy! :rotfl"

great update as usual

Thanks! Now I don't feel so bad about missing TSM! I don't think Sawyer ever even realized that he didn't get to ride it. He was happy with riding Buzz 3-4 times!

I wonder if anyone else caught that quote. Anyone??

I KNEW my indifference to dolls was to be blamed on you somehow! I always wanted to play with Uncle Putsa, the bionic woman, and the bodyless Dorothy (who rode on a rhinocerous, if I'm not mistaken).

See teresa???? you jsut proved my point.

OLDER THAN DIRT I AM. :scared1:

The good news is that I really love the smell of dirt, especially after a rainstorm! :thumbsup2

I started the whole height thing and now after reading all of the comments I am beginning to think Jordan is short and all of your girls are the correct height! I love when my thread gets hijacked! It's such fun! Go ahead and run amuk!

Dallas was 6 in December and just got his first loose tooth. It isn't anywhere near falling out yet though. He was excited until it became actually wiggly. I think he worries too much. Don't know where he would get that from! :confused3

Yeah, I have no idea! ;)

I am loving this TR! Can't wait to hear more!:goodvibes
Thanks!! You have a cute username, btw!

I wonder if anyone else caught that quote. Anyone??

you know, I knew it was a movie quote and I guessed from The Outsiders :confused3 but I'm not sure, it has been a looooong time since I watched that movie! :duck: But I DID love the movie and my friend Lisa and I had an enduring crush on C. Thomas Howell. I think we even joked about it when we wrote in each other's yearbooks years later. But maybe you're not even quoting that movie, I just had to be a little apologetic for not having seen it in so long because I KNOW you sistas! And I love you, and I would never want to disappoint you... ETA: Like Steph...

:sad2:
!

1) No way! She is so mature! ;)
2) Well of course, how silly of me!
3) Um, truthfully, I don't know her name. AG thinks her name is Nellie but Megan changed it. I'll ask her, hold on.

Angel! The well dressed doll that never gets played with is named Angel.

I did not catch the quote because I am not a good friend and didn't watch the movie even though I promised to. I'm sorry. :flower3:

I just found your TR, we are going very soon and are super excited.
Great outfits you've made.
You are a very funny writer, I'm enjoying reading along.:)

Heather...

I love it!!! All of it!

I don't know how I could possibly comment on it all, though! It has taken me 2 days to read it all. :thumbsup2

I loved the Sci-Fi set up! Although I am sad that he got sick! Yuck. Sweet of the CM to give you a shirt coupon, though. :)
