I love walking through the castle. I just hate it when I'm there and I can't walk through because of a show. That Donald Duc float made me giggle. It's just the regular float with garland and Chistmas ornaments.

sorry for the no updates or replies in a few days, we have no internet for the past few so i was unable to do anything.

It is so funny that Parker fell asleep on Buzz. It surprises me what babies can sleep through. Great score by the way. I never get a very high one but, it is still fun. I have never watched an afternoon parade. Your pics make me want to stay for one.

I was suprised as well in the places he fell asleep.
the parades are fun, we really enjoy them, wish we could have seen the MGM one, but we will next time.

Great pictures of the parade! We've never seen the afternoon one... I forgot it was even still there We've also never walked through the castle so those pictures were great to see too!

i enjoy the castle, it is nice and has a feeling when inside there, like you know that walt spent alot of time in that area.

i think he will, we will have some bribes of presents for him every day if he is good, the pixie ferries will bring them at night to good little boys in disney world. bad little boys get toys taken away.

I am loving these pictures so much since we have never been to Disneyworld and until the kids are grwon and gone we probably won't. Oh well. Parker seems to be so intent on the parade.

It is too bad that you weren't there later in the month, then you could have seen the real Christmas parade and not the regular parade with a few Christmas touches.

thta would have been cool, they filmed the christmas day parade a day before we got there, but i heard that was nuts in the MK that day.

I love the inside the castle pictures so much detail! And its nice to see those lights up close, you can sort of see the lights standing back but to the naked eye sometimes you can't see them at all!

i know i really like how it blends in unless you are close enough to see it...very cool.
now if they could do tat with the strands in MGM that would be cool.

Great updates! The inside of the castle is beautiful - glad you guys finally got to see it after missing it before. They do have an actual Christmas parade during the Christmas Party at MK & I think they start showing it daily in place of the 3 o'clock parade a few days before Christmas. It is a really cool one to see! Can't wait to see more pics of Parker!

we thought about going to the christmas party, but we would not have been able to stay for the whole thing since parker goes to sleep earlier.

Chapter 24. Picking up chicks and Taco Salads.

After the parade, we headed over to small world, and dropped the stroller at the old skyway entrance parking garage.

The line was its normal length to the top of the platform, and took only 5 minutes to descend and get to our boats.

5 minutes not that long, well it is long enough for some things, as i am holding parker in the line, i notice he has a look on his face like "hey, how you doin" I look over my shoulder and he is staring at a group of girls that are there for the cheerleader competions all decked out in there shorts and matching tops. He is smiling and and staring away, and they take notice and start to smile back and him and make faces, and talk to him, that boy, he knows the odds of going after a group of ladies instead of just one.

*in order to meet the legal disclaimer set forth by the TR standards, here is my obligatory Small world photo.*

legal rights over, parker wants nothing to do with sitting on our laps for this ride, he stands i them the whole time, and yells at the person in the both that is sending us off.

after the ride is over, we get our stroller that has yes been moved about 20 feet from where we parked it. and head over to splash mountain train station parker is about to hitch a ride on his first train.

then he hears the train coming to the station.

and some thunder mountain for you mountain lovers.

well that is really a goat and wagon for you goat and wagon lovers out there.

he enjoys the ride and the wind hitting him in the face, we make our short stop at toon town and our on our way again.

up front santa is changing over and will back shortly, we wanted to see miss clause but did not hvae the time to wait, it was dinner time before the shows started at night.

We head over to Pecos bills for dinner, we are hungry for some taco salad, well we were hungry but not too hungry so we decided to share a taco salad, i pay the man and get a tray with a taco shell bowl and some meat in it.....
the following conversation followed.


"excuse me sir, i think it is missing a few things"

"it wont when you turn around and go to the topping bar"

"ahh i see, well then can i have another bowl put my toppings on"

"sure"

"thanks"

"no problem, have a nice night"

"you too"

with that we are at the topping bar taking the plates and putting our lettuce and toppings on them, and head to a table...we split up the meat and share the bowl to dip into the salsa...this was a great meal... and all for under 10 bucks with a drink

we were both very full and did not finish all of the shell.

there was a nice old couple that sat next to use and just staired at parker and said how nice it was that he was there and they remember bringing there children to disney when they were little...now enjoy there grandkids at disney.

with that it was time to head to the hub for the shows again.

we were watching this show.

we then headed up to the shops and got a picture fram a mickey spinny head t hing for parker, he still plays with it...and the great castle fleece throw rug

then on the way back we found the roadway that was marked with tape,i knew this is where they would be letting people up to when the parade started, so instead of crowdig around by the castle for the lighting and then trying to find a spot for the parade, we just settled on this spot.

candi went to feed parker, and held down the fort, normally a easy task but a little tougher tonight, i was in the middle of main street with a stroller not moving with a wall of people trying to leave the park, tell me i was not honking people off.

they were trying everything to get around me, bumping into me, hitting me with strollers kickingme as they passed, it was great, i was enjoying every bit of it, but i knew if i moved some family would be like ohhh, this is agood spot to watch the parade, lets stop here,and i would lose the spot so i stood my ground for my wife and child and took angle smashing like a champ.

A nice couple came up to me and asked if this is where they could watch the parade, i said sure, and told them about the tape and all, then we formed a nice wall for people to get around. the night was getting better.

They were asking me a bunch of stuff about disney and i would ask them things they did and give them pointers, they must have sensed the knowledge on me and wanted to pick my brain.

Turned out that the husband had won a weekly radio contest 35 weeks earlier and won 100 dollars not bad, i would be happy, well he was entered into the final drawing for winning that, he won 1 of 4 10,000 dollar trips to disney, there was so much stuff included in it that they did not know everything they were even allowed to do...that sounds like a great trip.

The grand prize was a 100,000 package that someone else won that had a disney trip, a nascar trip package and alot of other stuff....sounds like a radio station i would like to listen to.

anyway candi joined us with a sleeping parker in her hands. and the castle lighting started shortly.

Well that is not even the good part of the evening, up next there is a confrontation with a brazilian group, 2 dads, me, and CM, who side is on who and what happens.
