They are not requests, they are booking categories which means they are booked directly when you reserve. Either you have it or you do not.

They are a guaranteed room type. As Dean said either you have it at booking or you don't.
However, higher floor is a request and not guaranteed.
As far as views. IMO there are no outstanding views at BCV like there are at BWV or AKV. That said, we have always been happy with our Villa.
We request higher floor, canal view. Now the canal view can have you looking toward a service road beyond the canal, but this has never bothered us.
Have a Great Trip.

Just booked dedicated 2BR with 2 Queens in 2ed BR.
Thanks for your help.:yay: :thumbsup2 :yay:
As it seems you've figured out, BCV has 3 separate booking cat for 2 BR (L/O, dedicated with 2 queen beds, dedicated with a queen and pull out).

And with the new wait-list rules you can only choose 2 of them. You can't say any 2 bedroom. :sad2:

Is there any difference in configuration, other than bed types, in the 2 BR dedicated with the 2 queens vs the dedicated with the p/o and queen?

I am a BCV owner. The views there are just nothing to get excited about. And one that people complain about at times, the "road view" actually can give you a sideways view of Illuminations, and you can hear the music from British Invasion if you open the porch door (a plus). So, not so bad!

I ask for upper floor. ANY view is better from higher up, because of the trees, IMHO. Facing the quiet pool is pretty nice. But do not worry too much about the view at BCV, none of them are that great.

One thing we HAVE requested is a particular layout. The dedicated 2BR have different configurations. Simply put, one has the door to 2nd BR in the foyer, the other has the door in the living room, near the outside wall. The problem with the 2nd option is that IF you have the pullout couch opened up, it blocks the path to the door to the 2nd bedroom. You have to hop over the corner if the bed. IF you do not use the LR pull out couch, it is not a problem. We always did use it (4 older kids, they do not like to share beds). So we would ask for the 2nd BR door in the foyer area.

Have fun at my "home"! We booked late for June and will be trying out SS for the first time.

The only difference is that the dedicated 2 bedroom w/2 Queens does not have a balcony off the second bedroom, only a window. There must have been some space issue with the balcony door and the real bed.

One thing to note is that the bedroom w/2 Queens are not equally distributed through out the building. Most are on the third floor and none on the first. There are only a few with pool views.

We just got back yesterday and had a great time. The are doing a minor rehab and were working on half of the 5th floor the week we were there and were moving to our room on the 4th when we left.

There are not too many this this configuration. They are 2 rooms on each floor that are pool view rooms at the point where the building bends making it easier to place the connecting door near the outer wall.

We have had both dedicated 2BR layouts, and we have requested the foyer second BR door one. Fortunately, the older kids are now grown, and rarely travel with us. I even sometimes prefer the 2nd BR with the one bed and couch setup now, depending on who we have traveling with us.

It is not a major issue, for most people. I think most people do not use the pull out bed; we had a son sleeping there who did not like waking up early, so people were scooting over his bed while he slept to get to and from the bedroom. (he slept thru all of it).

We LOVE BCV, and whatever room we get we make the best of it. Never "ruins" our good time.
