Has anyone done a Disney Florist In-room Celebration?

Great pictures, Lady Kay.:surfweb:

Great pics ...

I ordered some personalized Mickey Ears, balloons, coloring books and crayons to be in our room when we arrive in May.

Normally when things are ordered are they waiting in your room for you??

Hold on why not make your own its much more fun I looked on the florist web page and while if i had the money to spend i would definaltly order but i founf the disney princess proclomation and looked what they gave you and i created my own and mine cost me for each of my girls (i have 3) about 15.00if that ..... You can PM me or let me know if you want ideas

I noticed in one of Lady Kay's pictures a setup of milk and cookies. Where does one order that through? I did not see any option for that through Disney Florist.

I had put captions at the bottom of the pictures not sure why they didn't show up. The milk and cookies were sent up from the front desk for my birthday. I thought it was so thoughtful.

That would be through dining or room service.

so, if I wanted to get strawberries dipped in chocolate and champage would that be dining or florist? :)

thank Ü

LadyKay, thank you for the pictures. Everything looked wonderful. :thumbsup2 I think I may have to try this in May.:goodvibes

We booked the Grand Welcome - I'm so excited to see DD and DH's reaction!

Is it correct that with the in room decoration packages you don't have to be there - they just go in and set it up for you? With the other items are they delivered to your room or do you have to call down for them?

You don't have to be in the room in either case. For regular orders from the florist, things are delivered to the resort and then it's the resorts job to get them to the room. Things have always been delivered when we were out of the room. It's fun to come back to a surprise.

For the celebrations, the florists come in and set it up.

For our celebration, I was offered two time frames for set up....4-6 or 6-8pm. Since we had a dinner reservation at California Grill at 6pm, I chose 6-8.

I think you AREN'T supposed to be in the room. Cause "mickey" is doing the decorating...if you get my drift!

My kids are going to flip when they find suprises from Mickey in our room!!

So if I ordered just regular items (Personalized Mickey Ears, balloons, coloring books/crayons, etc) They will be delivered to our resort and the resort personel will arrange them in our room??

Like, when we check in if I tell them we are headed to DTD, they would go in and set them up so they are ready when we get back???

I just want to make sure we ARENT in the room .. lol

That would be dining. The florist does not carry strawberries and they cannot deliver an individual bottle of champagne. The only way the florist can deliver liquor is in a gift basket or wine caddy. It is a licensing thing.

I would like to have a gift basket in the room when we arrive on our honeymoon. What I was wondering is if anyone ever got the bathrobe. and if it had mickey on it? towels?

The bathrobe does not have Mickey on it. You can, however, have your name embroidered on it. The towels have Mickey on them and can also be embroidered.

Nothing can be in your room when you arrive. Items can be delivered to the resort and placed in your room once you have checked in. Rooms are not assigned until you check in.
