How cool, you have another vacation to plan for :cool1:

Once upon a time in the land of alligators and bayou's, there was a family of 3 who desperately needed a vacation full of fun. This is the story of their family adventures to Walt Disney World....the "happiest place on earth".

I'm sure most of you know how this will start from reading my past trip reports. We have a LONG drive ahead of us. 9 hours the first day. We left around 5:30am and arrived in Tallahassee around 3 or 4 pm. The drive itself was pretty much uneventful except for the part where we stroll into Florida, get our free shot of OJ at the welcome center, get back in the Yukon and all of the electrics were out!! It started and we were on our way but didn't realize until we were on the interstate that nothing else was working. No radio, no DVD, no OnStar!! We pulled into the next gas station. I attempted to call OnStar on my cellphone only to be told they can't do a diagnostic's check if the electrical "stuff" is not working. GREAT. DH got out and checked the fuses. Sure enough....a fuse was out. He quickly bought a new one and put it in and everything came back on. THANK HEAVENS!! I was starting to get nervous.

We continue on our trip. We spent the night in Tallahassee and left at 5:30am again to head for Orlando which is another 4 hour drive. When we woke up the next morning, the temp was 22 degrees! After about a 45 minute drive the temp dropped to 19 degrees. :scared1: OMG, I thought we were in FLORIDA!!! We left the cold rainy weather back in Louisiana. We knew it would be a little chilly this time of year at WDW but were not prepared for THIS!! Luckily, as we drove on the temp started to rise. When we got to Orlando it was around 65. :woohoo:

Here are some pictures of our drive...........

It didn't. It was warm-hot during the day and cool at night (50's)

Well, he had to read the manual to find out where it was. But at least he had the idea that it could be a fuse. I wouldn't have known that.

They do grow fast, don't they?!

I can't believe how chilly it was, but thank goodness it warmed up.

Glad the wire issue was easy to fix. It isn't a real roadtrip unless something goes wrong! :rotfl:

Oh - and isn't it actually "Geaux Tigers"??? :rolleyes1
