Taking DW and Dd to London this weekend for DW 40th. Any recommendations for somewhere to eat which is child friendly and good quality food (not to Gordon Ramsey standard!)

Which area?
I may have some ideas if you can narrow it down a bit....:thumbsup2

We are staying central London, Paddington Hilton so anywhere on the tube will be fine. Did consider Planet Hollywood but last time we went it was very tatty inside. Also considered Hard Rock Cafe but had seen mixed reviews.

I've eaten at the HRC and we loved it!! It's not as good as some of the others around the world but still well worth it, the food was amazing too! Check out various places websites too because they quite often have deals on!:thumbsup2

I havent been for a couple of years but I can recommened Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers restaurant. Near High St Kensington.

Tootsies off Bond Street, I think it's James St thats it's on.

Although I haven't been to one, friends have. I think they went to one on the Southbank.

....and remember if you're in the mood for Pizza, Pizza Express is always fun and has an atmosphere thats makes you feel you're in a grownup restaurant.
There's a particularly nice one near the Globe theatre with great views of the Thames:thumbsup2

We liked Hard Rock Cafe but were surprised to find they added a service charge when there were only 4 of us.

As a family we've always enjoyed TGI Fridays (both Covent Garden and near Leicester Square) but weren't so keen on Rain Forest Cafe.

Hi - we did giraffe on the southbank - go to the London eye turn right and walk for 5 min. Food was lovely - and it is set up for family dining. Quite busy -always a good sign!

Also - we like Pizza hut, Bella Pasta, and whatever it is upstairs at Victoria rail station (good to eat before going home.....)
