Hello,
I had my rehearsal dinner in the Napa Room and we had a perfect view of Wishes. The event started around 7:30 and Wishes that night was at 8. They turned out the lights in the room and piped in the sound from the show, so it was a great surprise and treat for all the guests.
We had the room booked from 6 to 10 pm. We were there from around 7:15 until 10.
We didn't decorate the room since it was just the rehearsal dinner, so I wasn't concerned about centerpieces or anything, but the restaurant put centerpiece bowls of fruit in the middle of each table which looked really nice and fit well with the fresh California food theme (and the fruits were really good cuz my friends and I ate them later, lol).
For the menu, we had flatbreads first with different toppings--some were truffle oil andmushroom, some were with chicken, some were with tomato. Really good and pretty filling.
Then we had a Wine Country Salad with Marinated Dried Tomatoes, Olives, Sourdough Croutons, and Cabernet-Herb Vinaigrette.
The dinner course consisted of 3 different entrees:
1.) Slow-roasted Atlantic Salmon with Farro Wheat Risotto and Crustacean Sauce
2.) Sliced Oak-grilled Beef Tenderloin with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes,
Caramelized Onions, and Red Wine Butter Sauce
3.)Oak-fired Chicken Breast with Semolina Gnocchi,
Wilted Arugula, an Sauce Vierge
The dinner course was brought out family style on large platters to each table so everyone was able to have some of each type.
Dessert was Banana Bread Pudding with Drunken Butterscotch, Toffee Bits
and Banana Bisque.
The children had veggies and dip for their first course. Then they pizza, and for dessert they had a rice krispy plate.
There was an appetizer course and a sorbet course as well but we cut those out to shorten the meal and to cut cost a bit (it was the night before the wedding, we didn't want to have a ton of food or a neverending event).
Good luck!
