Palo ?

There is a bar, but I'm not sure if you can order anything other than predinner drinks?:confused3

I have never done it personally, but have read reports of people having a drink and dessert at Palo. It is worth a shot just to have the chocolate souffle :teeth:

:goodvibes

I agree, apparently they do have it a lot left over at night!

I really don't know, it is a good question. I would think maybe yes, but that is my thought.

We had requested just dessert at Palo's for our 3 niter..and our Head waiter made it possible. We were not given a check..and we had expected to pay something.

I would check with your head waiter...or check with the head of Palo's when you first get on teh ship and ask.

I know you would pay for the drinks at the bar.

Thanks,we have eaten there for dinner on the past trips but want to try brunch this time, but we also want the panna cotta, thats why thought about the bar.Guess it can't hurt to ask when onboard:)

We also want to skip Palo for dinner this time around but I remember their chocolate souffle is to die for! I would also love to just have dessert there too.

We have never done the brunch before. We have always done the dinner because it is so wonderful, and the souffle is the best part of it all.......the highlight of the night.
We wondered about trying the brunch, but we don't want to miss the souffle. This might be the way to do it if we can find out just getting the dessert is possible.
The brunch does not offer the souffle. Correct? We didn't think that it was available there.

People have reported that they were able to get desserts and drinks at the bar before. If I remember right, you need to ask at the check-in desk. If they are not too busy and seats are open at the bar, they will allow it. But do note that the bar is very small and only has a few stools. All but one seat was taken when we had to wait for our table this past cruise. So don't be surprised if there isn't a seat to be had.

My group was told at Palo on the May 23 Magic that they don't serve dessert at the bar. Just drinks.

If it's just the souffle you are looking for (and I don't see why this wouldn't work with the panna cotta either), check with your head server and he/she may be able to arrange for a Palo dessert to be delivered to your regular dining room for dinner one night. It's been know to happen! ;)
