Ok,I just got a free dining pin .We were already planning (pending Disney extending the 4/3 deal thru 8/15)to go from 8/8-8/21 staying at pop.My question is would it be possible to book this (after confirming the 4/3 extention) as one reservation using both specials 8/8-8/15 being buy 5 get 3 free and the the 16th thru the 21 being free dining. Or would I need to book 2 seperate deals? If anyone has any ideas that would be great, thank you.

Two separate reservations, but you could link them as continuing.

It never hurts to ask but I would think you could continue them under a seperate reservation, best bet is to call and just let them know your situation and see what comes

Thanks for all your help.I guess I would have to wait till Monday to call to see if the 4/3 special is extended ,then they could give me an answer.

I would think you would have to book two separate deals. You can never stack discounts. You have to pick one or the other.

I think you could link the reservations in order to stay in the same room but keep in mind that you will have to buy one day tickets for everyone in the room to get free dining. Free dining is with a package,
I have linked a room only for one night and then a package the rest of the week and they have let us stay in the same room.

Disney definitely IS extending the 4/3 deal on Monday, Feb 9th (don't know if it's at a certain time), so I would check with them Monday. I'm pretty sure you can just make the ressies separate, and then ask a CM to link them so they'll know you are just continuing your stay. However, they won't "guarantee" you won't be moved to another room for your 2nd ressie, but for the savings, it's worth the chance!

Good luck!

I was about to post a new thread asking a very similar question, so I figured I would post it here:

I have been crunching the numbers and this works out to be the cheapest, for my goal, which is one week at POR and one week at POLY. I have bounceback, and I am hoping they extend 4/3 too.

8 days POR 4/7 cost with same options Plus DDP $3,185.02
Free dining (family of 5)
10 day hopper &WP option
2,861.88

4/7 Free Dining Cost:2,763.09
Poly
1 day base ticket for 5
paying for DDP
2,641
-200 Gift Card
2,461.

Will they let me buy a 1 day base Tix with the 4/7 if I make 2 reservations?????

If not it will not work for the budget at all

I really want the Poly for the end of our trip. I have champagne taste and a Beer Budget

I have a ressie for 15 nights Free dining with tix hopper and WP at POR cost 4,200.

If I do what I want to above, that would mean I would have to pay 1,267.99(minus gift card)
but, I would get a whole week at my dream resort. I would have several yard sales...if this could be a possibility!

yes:rolleyes: , I know you don't feel sorry for my budget as I am lucky enough to go 15 nights, but we really need those break days and afternoon breaks. or it gets ugly :scared:

With any of the packages, you just have to buy at least a one day ticket for everyone in order to do the package.
What month are you planning to go? The $200 gift card is only good for those who are staying thru March. The rest of us get nothing.

Since they extended the 4/3 deal to Aug 15, that got me thinking(always a dangerous thing) that maybe they will extend it further. I think it is a possability because it is an added incentive to book deluxe. Free dining is cheaper for mod and Value, but not Deluxe. At least in my humble opinion. I crunched the numbers and found this to be true.

So I am plannig to go August 23-Sept6. I have not booked my flight, so I can be flexible. With the hopes that somehow I can figure out how to get the Poly for the end of our trip.

I was thinking of booking 2 nights a little over (700.) and paying for dining oop.

However, with the 4/3 I could pay 1200-1400 for a whole week with diningand I would have a unused ticket for the next trip.

I always like to have a plan B, so that if there is a deal I can pounce on it, because I have already looked at all the angles.

This economy may help me get my dream ressie at the POLY!

I would not even be surprised to see added incentives to the free dining promotion in April. Yes, I know it is not a set in stone kind of thing, but I do believe of all years, it is a definate this year.

thanks, for answering and I hope I was not too long winded. I could talk a dog off a meat wagon, when it comes to Disney planning:rotfl:

thanks for everyone's help.Booked my trip today and it worked out perfectly. Will be heading to pop 8/8-8/20 made 2 seperate reservations and got both deals, woohoo, couldn't have done it without all your help.
