Got Pin Code for free dinning 8/16-10/1

FIRST PIN in over 25 visits on site!!
Meanwhile we are already booked at the SAME time with FREE DINING on the bounceback promo from last trip
BUT......
I added a few days as that bounce back started later then we wanted to arrive, (so we were paying for food o/o/p) so NOW, I get to re-book and get FREE DINING for first half of trip. DH said add even MORE days as we're shopping for a vacation home in Fla this year and rather than having to fly back down to "check out areas" we'll just use resort as our base and EAT FOR FREE TOO!

Yes we got it too!! This is our first PIN number and we have been going at least twice a year for the last 4 years. Sadly we can't use it. I'm a little curious, which dining plan is being offered free? Is it the new counter service one or the regular one?

It's the basic dining plan ~ 1 TS, 1 CS and 1 Snack per person per day.

Codes are emailed or sent snail mail, but you can call and ask if there are any associated with your name. I just did that and sadly, not a code to be had. I have gotten a couple of them in the past that I couldn't use, though.

We got that PIN too, yesterday. We just got the one for 40% off last month, which I booked for Dec. Also got the offer for kids stay and dine free. Makes me wonder just how slow Disney thinks it will be this year.

I've gotten two pin code emails in the last few weeks! I think I got that one, but it was a bit obscure about the savings.

Too bad, we aren't planning on going this year. It's not the economy, just not in our plans (maybe December but don't know right now).

I got this offer too. We just had to cancel our March trip and we were thinking of rescheduling for September. This made those plans official! 5 days, 4 nights, 5 day base ticket with free dining at Pop for 845.80!!!!

Question: We've been toying with the idea of going at the end of August, not sure because the little guy isn't even 2. Anyway, I got a 40% and free dining. My FIL is military and can get us companion tix for $100 and we pay our own food or I could buy the 1 day base, the military tix and get free dining. Just not sure which would be most sensible. Love the DP but would probably end up doing a show and paying for that anyway. Thoughts??????

You got a code for 40% off your room AND free dining??? I haven't heard of that. Or did you get two separate codes, because you can't use them together.

Is your FIL going with you? Because he has to be there to change the vouchers into tickets. Some people are saying he would have to be there every time you used the tickets, that I don't know.

If your FIL is going and you have 40% off and free dining I would get tickets with FIL and do the dining and room promo and just save the one day tickets for your next trip.

If you only have 40% off the room OR free dining you need to run the numbers to see which will save you more money (for example it would save more money to use the 40% if your staying at the Poly then to get the free dining) but I would still go with the military tix if you can.

Yes the price was for 2 adults. Pretty excited but worried about the weather! Only been down in March.

If you arrive before the 16th, your FD package wouldn't start until the 16th.
The FD package starts on the 16th.

The 40% and the free dining are two separate offers, I'm trying to figure out which is best. As for the military tickets, it is my understanding that the companion tix can be bought at your local base and then be exchanged at the window for tix. Does anyone know for sure. Another info site stated that, also when I called Disney they seemed to think that too. Can anyone confirm?

We received the pin code for the free dining etc from 8/16 on...now our problem will be..do we book the 4/3 deal which is offered thru 8/15 or the free dining deal from 8/16 on.

Since I am stuck at the office, and can't call Disney reservations, would people be so kind as to post what they are getting offered for stays at a deluxe resort with the pin code offer for dates in August?? If you like you can send me an e-mail with the info.
