Can 4/3 deal work with room only?

Just looking at prices, and for some reason, it works out less expensive for my family to pay for 4 nights room only, get 3 nights free, and buy tickets seperately, than it does to buy a package deal. Or, does 4/3 have to be package deal?

The buy 4, get 3 deal is for packages only. You would have to purchase a minimum of a one day base ticket. It is not possible to book room only with this deal.

1 week at WL with 4/3 promo for 2 adults, 1 child = $2,100.
2 seperate 1 week reservations as mentioned above = $4,200.

2 week room only reservation with AAA rate at WL = $3,000
3 annual passes = $1,450 for a total of $4,450.

:confused3

So, for $250 more, we could get annual passes for 3 people?

I think that your numbers are off.

If you go to Disney's website and plug in 4 nights @WL in late July (std. view) for 2A/1C, 4-day MYW base tickets, the price comes up $1746. Assuming that these rooms will be included for those dates in the extended 4/3 deal, that's the price that you would pay for 7 nights/7-day MYW base passes.

Odd - I got those numbers from Disney's site. Only difference was it gave us 5 day park hoppers.

EDIT - Now this is weird. I did it with just 1 child, our 8 year old and got the same price as you. However, when I did it with our twin 2 year olds, it comes up at $2,100. Why would that be? Disney isn't supposed to charge anything for children under 3.

Now I'm really confused.

EDIT #2 - It seems the system keeps changing my ticket selection, adding and deleting park hopper and water park.

And it probably also automatically added WPF&M as well. That and hoppers will add an extra $346 to the cost of your trip!

Exactly.

Even if you switch it, every time you update it, it adds both features. Good to know.

So, it's a bit less. Total for 1 week at WL and 1 week at YC would come to $4,239.
